Nobody knows what Joel Glazer looks like so it’ll just be some Executive who can do an American accent probably

This will be funny.

"Mr. Joel, Fred isn't that good, we need a midfielder".
"We have a player named Fred ?".

He's brave doing that if he actually goes. It will probably be a careful selected group of fans anyway though.

That's what it needs though, I don't want no loose cannons meeting with Joel, I want the meeting to be productive and beneficial.

They'll be from MUST and they know what needs to be said and done in a professional manner too.

Let's all cut our hair like that convicted pedo look Avram Glazer goes for and really freak out Joel.

Nope. It doesn't work like that. The fans forum is elected and nominated by the fans. The club have no input as to who is chosen.

Fair play to him for going. Excited to see if he's actually able to produce some sort of logical explanation as to why the relationship with the fans have become so toxic and distant, and why they never bothered to properly address it when they first bought the club.

The fans selected must be able to behave in an appropriate manner even though they are more passionately involved then their "counerparts", so it's important that the people selected are able to speaak for themselves and provide proper arguments.

I was thinking more along the lines of stooges to be honest, but yeah people from MUST would be ideal.

What’s the chances that he will pull out last minute and get one of his mouthpieces to fill in for him?

It’s an opportunity to engage to benefit fans. Let’s hope it’s not hijacked

If he's smart he'll let Alexthemeercat select the group.

Look if they are serious about not selling or Joel is at least then this is a start. Shame it’s taken so long!
I hope that he is given a chance to state his side and what his plans are and he’s not just shouted out never to be seen from again

Yep. You don't want to kill the forum immediately by having a group of hostile people with zero tact involved.

A "constructive discussion" about how they will leave the club.

I'd be well up for that

Exactly. Any infinite number of United fans could hurl abuse and whatever at them but thats not really a discussion then is it. It needs to be constructive otherwise he will say sod this and the chance to do something good will be gone.

Assuming its an open and honest forum, fans should take this opportunity to get some messages across specially around spending and supporting Ole.

Any discussion of Glazers selling and leaving would be a waste of an opportunity. They will leave when they see fit.

I imagine his plans are to continue making as much money as possible and to do the absolute minimum to get fans to shut up and keep spending their money.

I hope we don’t end up with a “is Joel a coward?” thread if he chickens out.

I hope the fans who do get access to him don't succumb to emotion and the meeting is constructive.
Hounding him about selling or 50+1 would be a fecking waste of time. .
What they should go for is concrete steps and commitments about investment in infrastructure and the team for both the men's and women's team. With dates and deadlines.
Any other thing is a waste of time.

It's a fantastic opportunity, even if the people involved just get mugged off with what they think we want to hear. I'm intrigued to see how it turns out.

My concern is that the fans ,who are in attendance and get to put forward questions, might be alittle too nervous and give him abit of a free ride.

There certainly needs to be a balance obviously .
