He's unfortunatley not suited to the league. Quality player who'll do well in Italy

Although, on a free it wouldn't be bad business, even if it didn't work out, you'd probably still get a decent fee for him in a year or two.

Back to Lille for 10m if he’s a flop. Can’t be bad can it?
 
Said he wants to play in Spain dosen't he? Could see him at a Betis or Villareal given it's a free and both will be in Europe next season. Would say Atletico Madrid would fancy him but they are stacked upfront.

He’ll be good in Spain or Italy. Ill suited to the PL.

Not much of a step up for him,
I think he will be aiming higher than that.
 
Im suprised no one has snapped this lad up yet when he is available for free, we should probably be looking at him if his demands arnt too high

Looking for a total signing on package in terms of his own signing bonus and agent fees of around 28M according to The Athletic. He was interviewed a couple of days ago and said he is weighing his options but he is known to have been offered contracts by Napoli and Juve and was said to be favoring linking up with the legend that is McTominay.
 
A lot of people seem adamant that he is a bit crap. Just looking at his goalscoring record and some clips of him being pretty decent on the ball makes me think it might not be the worst signing on a free. Allow us to spend on a keeper and midfielder.

I'll bow to the knowledge of those who have supposedly seen a lot of him though.

Seems we are going to go heavy for Gyokeres.

And there lies the lokely issue. A big signing on fee for him and his agent and a big wage and a ‘free’ suddenly doesn’t seem as appealing.
 
I've seen him for Canada and not for Lille, so consider that.

He's a very good finisher and his penalties are money in the bank. He has good instincts in the box and makes good runs.

However, he's not a target man, he's not a dribbler and he isn't a physical freak running the channels and bullying.

Also, when the team isn't functioning he doesn't or can't take the initiative to score or create. This is probably his worst trait.
 
Dont know him, but he is an out and out striker, he is free and he has a pulse

Get him in.
 
Must be a reason there are no links.
Never seen him play once but the lack of rumours/links to any PL team must say something.
