What toxicity do I contribute??? Supporting my manager?Coming from you
We sort of play like this but better because we have the better midfielders in season 16/17, we just lacked clinical finishers at that time like Kane and Son unfortunately when Zlatan is having his rare months of off day finishing. My Liverpool supporting mate just messaged me to ask why Mourinho has Spurs playing like this but in general was a flop for us? I literally couldn’t answer the question.
“noisey”What toxicity do I contribute???
Because he didnt have to buy Kane. He didnt have to buy Son.My Liverpool supporting mate just messaged me to ask why Mourinho has Spurs playing like this but in general was a flop for us? I literally couldn’t answer the question.
Don't bother. He is Poch central. The man can do no wrong according to him. No rational argument will change thatYou didn't answer my question, if you wanna talk about improving players look at Harrys quotes this week.
I’m noisy in support of my team and manager? So what’s wrong in that?“noisey”
So supporting the manager is toxic? I don't agree with him always but it is a remark on the obvious people with bias against our manager. Surprising they don't get labelled as toxic which they clearly are and he does (both are tbf)Coming from you
He’s a poch loony troll. Don’t go thereYou didn't answer my question, if you wanna talk about improving players look at Harrys quotes this week.
Sorry maybe you misunderstand? I'm not trying to dicsuss the way his team plays. I'm talking about the commitment his players are showing him. He had generals all over the pitch in his Chelsea team, players like Terry, Lampard, Essien, Drogba, Duff, the Porto boys - they would bleed for him. I can see some of these Spurs lads doing the same for him now. I can't remember seeing that quality from our players when he managed us?But we did play like this for a while, all of his teams do. Its just that he cant sustain it anymore and players fall out of sync with him.
Do you really lack that much self-awareness?What toxicity do I contribute??? Supporting my manager?
He bought very badly at Utd whereas at Spurs he inherited 2 of the best forwards in the league, and just added a 3rd in Bale (who we should have signed on loan) that has given the whole squad there a huge lift.My Liverpool supporting mate just messaged me to ask why Mourinho has Spurs playing like this but in general was a flop for us? I literally couldn’t answer the question.
That's kinda how I feel. Was so bored during his second season, and the feelings at the beginning of his third season were some of the most negative I've ever seen around United (though the board has a big part of that) but ....I just kind of like him. He's a whinger, a moaner and his teams are negative but he's also an absolute legend, a serial winner, and I think secretly we all miss him when he's not in the premier leagueI want to hate him, but just can't.
Highly doubt he can drop Kane.In Spurs he is the boss. In United he wasn't. In Spurs he can drop a player without any fuss. And that is how you get authority among players.
True. The position is the only positive, and it's not guaranteed that he'll finish first. If he doesn't, then the season wouldn't have been that great.Still playing shit on a stick football. Don’t miss him at all, despite Spurs position in the league.
So you are saying its the same team? What about Harry's qoutes? Most of those players still remains and with the likes of Bale, Vinicus, Lo Celso, Doherty, Moura, Lamela, winks, Ali, and even Davis on bench, the squad is easily much stronger now then back then. Only players that left are Vertonghen, Walker, Eriksen, Rose and Dembele, and they got great replacement for those players baring Eriksen. I don't know how this is even debatable. @InLevyITrust, @charlenefan .
I have some kind of error in this thread that I can't quote post
are you really that easily triggered?Do you really lack that much self-awareness?
How fuming would you be if it was a head to head between Mourinho and Lampard, and Spurs edged it?Pressure should be on him to win the league, his methods and tactics are (as always) being geared towards winning now so onus is on him.
They're going to win the league this season, I just fecking know it.Still playing shit on a stick football. Don’t miss him at all, despite Spurs position in the league.
I said it is almost the same team, but the current team has much better depth. The only lost from that past team was Eriksen else, the current team is much improved on as he is the only player they have not replaced well enough. Which is surprising considering they now have Bale(arguably Spurs best ever player) and lo Celso. Eriksen was really good in his prime under PochettinoSo you are saying its the same team?
Eh? Im sure if you asked the majority of Spurs fans they would be happy with top four and getting back in the CL. I think a trophy like a League Cup will be seen as a massive boost but I dont think upper management or the general Spurs fanbase will be in an uproar if Jose gets top four and no trophies.Pressure should be on him to win the league, his methods and tactics are (as always) being geared towards winning now so onus is on him.
Ok so why is Jose top of the League and Poch was in the bottom half?I said it is almost the same team, but the current team has much better depth. The only lost from that past team was Eriksen else, the current team is much improved on as he is the only player they have not replaced well enough. Which is surprising considering they now have Bale(arguably Spurs best ever player) and lo Celso. Eriksen was really good in his prime under Pochettino
You loved Poch, I loved Poch but when i see what Jose is doing i now can see he is on a different level.Ok so why is Jose top of the League and Poch was in the bottom half?
He also wanted to get rid of Martial and bench Rashford in favour of a workhorse like Willian. Maybe he would've grinded out another trophy eventually, who knows. I'm happy we didn't sell our soul for his brand of football though.I would agree that he is the Boss at Spurs but not at United. If he had been able to get rid of Pogba and get someone else who knows how things may have turned out?
For me (if United can't win it):Much rather Spurs win the title than Pool or City. In an ideal world none of them win but you don't always get what you want.
is this a joke post? You are nitpicking Jose best run with Pochettino poorest run due to lack of rebuild that mourinho got in the two windows that followed after the depature. The team got the needed strength in depth that increased everyone's level. Pochettino was only in the bottom when his footballing cycle ended, else he was consistently always in the topOk so why is Jose top of the League and Poch was in the bottom half?
Because we are having different brand of football now?He also wanted to get rid of Martial and bench Rashford in favour of a workhorse like Willian. Maybe he would've grinded out another trophy eventually, who knows. I'm happy we didn't sell our soul for his brand of football though.
This.Still playing shit on a stick football. Don’t miss him at all, despite Spurs position in the league.
