That’s a different question and I don’t necessarily disagree with you. He came on late and put in a shift, but that doesn’t mean he should be our first choice after Sesko next season. But if we brought in to CM’s and two fullbacks of real quality next season but we had to keep Sesko as the price for doing so, I could live with that. If we can afford all four AND a top striker behind Sesko, which would probably require an outlay of 250-275m then by all means let’s ship out Zirkzee. But I have my doubts about our ability to spend that kind of money this summer.

Exactly my thoughts. He'd do well in a slower and less physical league but even is such competition he'd not be a reliable goal scorer.

There is zero upside to having him at United.

I really don’t rate him at all…I don’t rate his attributes or his character (comes across as a total clown) but one thing I am impressed with today is he looked slimmer and fitter. I always thought he looked a few pounds overweight and I couldn’t forgive him for not being generally fit, even if understandably not match fit, but he seems to have turned a corner

Some nice touches I guess but I was fit to kill him at the end when he had a chance to take the ball into the corner but instead tried a difficult reverse pass and lost possession, leading to a Palace counterattack.

He's like a talented street footballer or 5 a side player who's just not cut out for the cut and thrust of the PL.

What is particularly disappointing about him is he doesn’t look like he ever works on his weaknesses. He might not have match rhythm and you can sympathise with him in regard to that, but honing your skills and refining your game is something that should be evident when he gets on, but his shooting, timing and interplay is still poor and/or erratic and it does have you ask what exactly is he doing in training that he never looks different or better at anything since the last you saw him play.

He’s gone in the summer; there’s no way we keep him.

Can he hit the ball really hard, a proper strike? I feel like he always tries to place all his shots, going for technique over power every single time. Zirkzee is not a bad player but i would be very surprised if he isn't sold this summer.
