Not sure if £10 million would even cover the final payment for Zirkzee. When we signed him we chose to pay more than his minimum fee release of £34 over 3 years, he's been here 2 years. No idea if they are equal payments every year or how it works out. Granted I'm not sure another club will pay more than £10 million, its just a sad number regardless with us paying something like that every season for him
He hasn't, but you can't tell me we were better off not having him at all without a replacement.
It's not like he comes on and disgraces himself, he just gets a bad time because he looks tidy in his play, but then doesn't offer as much as people think he should.

Typical hoarder behavior. Zirkzee clearly doesn't have a future here. Keeping him because of "what if" reasons is why United is so bad at selling. Even if what if happens, there are tons of other better options before Zirkzee even becomes close as THE solution.
Piss poor planning prevents player procurement: perennial problems persist, permanently preventing progression. Practically promising pedestrian PL prospects. Painfully predictable. Probable predicament principally produced by preposterous prats persistently presiding over perpetually perplexing project. PL pretenders pour plentiful pounds, proactively pursuing prized players. Paltry prospects prevail.
Infuriating stuff. We were trying to get rid of him all summer, but we didn’t have a plan in case we did it. I know it was late in the window, but this shows how poorly we’re managed. The whole sporting side is a mess. Heads should roll, but I’m sure Ratcliffe is happy they managed to keep the expenditure to a minimum. Feck them rats.
Sounds like the club already decided he was staying unless a decent transfer fee came in. Yeah clubs enquired and started talking to us about him but they were loans not motivating us to look for a replacement with small time left in the window. I know a lot of posters dont rate him even as a squad option, but we clearly do.

Well he's still here so I'll back him... until January, when maybe Everton or someone else come knocking again.
Imagine using Zirkzee as your smokescreen for Woltemade. Terrible times. I do like Zirkzee in the sense that he can do some pretty cool things and has a certain flair about him. Nowhere worthy of a starting spot in any game but I don't think he is a bad bench option if the alternative is a snide loan deal with no obligation from the stingiest league in the world. If somebody was throwing 20m at us though, I'd sell.
Knew this would happen. Oh well, hope he does well, I still prefer Zirkzee upfront over Mbeumo. He will be third choice behind Sesko and Cunha.
Oh yeah he won't be sacking any of Berrada, Wilcox or that clown Hargreaves unfortunately

CL where pace is much slower
Between mid week fixtures and the odd sub appearance, he should get a fair amount of minutes.
The management above Carrick has sunk to a new level of low. How can we contend on all fronts with this squad ?

Well they only have Barry so I'm sure sooner or later they'll be praying to have someone like Zirkzee at least.
Must be frustrating for him too. Can’t buy a game here - he’s honestly behind Sesko, Mbuemo, Cunha, Rashford maybe even fecking Bruno as a striker. He’ll play the odd cup games but even then I worry he won’t be very useful.
He has talent. The problem is its not good enough for any team to build around him like a Cantona.
I have an odd feeling he will become useful . Hes not bad as a pivot point for our two wingers and a roaming Bruno. Hope the best for him this season

He’s got 25 open play prem goals in his last two seasons. Zirkzee would need about 100 more games to do that.
