2 years ago they could point to midfielders playing in defence, no such excuses this time around

He probably should be sacked, or "leave by mutual consent" but he won't. They need a huge rebuild. Their team has run its course, alongside Klopp.

Why shouldn't he oversee that rebuild? He has earned the right. Liverpool will not find a better coach.

Spurs away next week, really think that could see their top 4 dreams buried by Kane

Mane out, Nunez in has to be the worst combination since they opted to replace Alonso with Barry.

Klopp is lost. He hasn't got a clue how to fix it. Long may it continue. :)

No one earns anything in football, beside his transfers have been mostly shit the last few years. I don't remember a single good transfer they have pulled out since Fabinho.

Not entirely on him. Don't they have a committee?

He'll walk in the summer. The whole team needs a rebuild from Salah to Van Dijk and they don't have the money for that.

When all their transfers are shit he has to have a role somewhere. Not sure that's a good sign to hand him the upcoming rebuild. They need new blood, new tactics and new setup.

Guess there's a reason his other two managerial spells ended after seven years. Liverpool's downturn has been delayed by a year compared to the others but can't see them getting the rebuild financially that they need.

Their fans had been hoping to sign Bellingham because he idolises Gerrard, which was fairly laughable to see FSG putting up the 120M or so necessary before the season even started. Now, unless they fluke their way to win the CL, they won't have Champions League football to offer and Man City and Real Madrid will be there paying the fee no problem.

They can't handle pressing at the moment. Can't remember Liverpool consistently losing so many second balls.

I don't think he's the issue at all. Most of his top players are in their 30s, and there's no quality in depth in most positions. If given investment and time he'll be able to rebuild. The question here is, does he fancy doing this again? Looking at how competitive the premier league these days, and how everyone at the top 6 in addition to Newcastle are investing more than Liverpool, he might walk, it's just a very difficult job at this point.

Spurs-Liverpool game next week should be entertaining, Spurs will feel more confident after their comeback against Bournemouth and seeing Liverpool's form; while Liverpool have to get a result as soon as possible. They only lost once against Tottenham since 2012.
