Fridman seems stunned by his primitive arguments.

At some point the media need to ignore him. Unless they want to be responsible for what he says. Doing a serious interview with him is pointless at this time.

Lex is one of the anti-PC warriors with a pretty massive following, it makes sense for him to interview Kanye.

It's sad as feck how far he's fallen. When Graduation came out I think I had it on repeat the entire year.

No point in getting into a discussion again about mental health because you've all done it, but at what point does the world just collectively tell him to feck off?

I said he would name his name his next album "my struggle".
Maybe he's a gamer?

I haven’t followed this that closely. Have any of his closest friends/associates said anything about his behaviour?

Does he really have any close friends or associates? I honestly haven’t seen anyone claiming to be such coming forward.

I think people should read the comments under that video before they dismiss Wests influence.
It's less his influence and more the reality of the popularity of the exteme right wing movement the world over. It just needs any vehicles to keep rolling whether that's politicians or this muppet.

Kanye will have to go even more extreme. I look forward to seeing him on Hitler In The Morning.
It’s almost impossible to make Tim Pool look moderate & have integrity. Ye accomplished both within 20 minutes of the interview beginning.

imagine having the talent and platform as ye and then deciding to go down the far right politics path. i mean grifters like pool and tucker and whoever else have no talent, that is all they have. ye is or at least was a musical genius.

also why tf would you even want to go into politics when you already have a far better life making music and designing fashion? i guess he's bored making music or whatever but politics?

God complex. Politics is the ultimate platform for that.

It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if in 2 or 3 years time he’s done a complete 180 and starts attacking right wing politics and the people who are currently facilitating him because that’s what will get him the most attention at that time.

He's mentally ill and has an extremely inflated sense of his own importance. He genuinely thinks that he's a genius and is therefore entitled to be POTUS.

It's not mentioned enough, but all media should really stop platforming this guy. Don't talk about him on the news, don't bring him on your podcasts, etc. The man is not well, and he doesn't have anything of value to bring. Better to just ignore him really.

Musical genius is a bit of a stretch. He's the Taste the Difference Will.I.Am at best.

genuinely hope so, question is whether he can be redeemed after the shit he's said lately.

him saying outlandish things is always going to get media attention though, that's the problem. agree though, he needs some serious help, but feels like he's way beyond that now.

he's on another stratosphere to will.i.am, you wash your mouth out!

It will, but it shouldn't. "Mentally ill man says crazy shit" shouldn't actually be a story, since is probably happens thousands of times daily. The only difference is that this mentally ill man has released a few albums.

It's never gonna happen, but I would just wish that the media would be the grown-ups in the room and ignore him, even if that means a loss of clicks or viewership.

I specially agree with the first and last parts though unfortunately it hard to ignore some of the things given the amplification it gets through social and traditional media

If the man cant be happy with billions in the bank and Kim K in his bed then I'm not sure what is going to keep him off the podcasts etc because for sure it wont be the podcast hosts or the news outlets as there is lots of in$entive$ for them to keep on exploiting.

I think the end game has to be him musk trump and the top G circle jerking each other on twitter live as they go full on reptilian conspiracy (who happen to be jews that are working inside the matrix for apple to steal the election)

I think there's a real misunderstanding about mental illness in here. He's not a cnut because he's mentally ill, he's a cnut because he's a cnut. And he's mentally ill.

If any of these people cared, they would get him help, instead they are exploiting him for their RW agenda.

Easy to get power within the right wing when you have millions. And Right wing supporters are gullible and easily lead. Probably a sound bet if you crave power.

Balenciaga drop Kanye West, now they are caught up in using peadophila references in their latest ad campaign- back ground of one of the pictures shows dates which all correlate to child abuse cases, theres a pic where theres supreme court case papers on a table relating to some sick bastard who's trying to get child sex pronography legalised…and his ex wife is the face of that brand. Not to mention the teddy bears all dressed in bondage gear. Sick bastards.

I don't know, maybe. He's apparently bipolar, and if this is the cause then presumably he's in a manic episode right now. It's already been 8 weeks at the very least, which is long. Not unheard of, I guess, but I don't think it's typical.

I'm guessing there's a lot more wrong with him than just bipolar disorder, but who the hell knows.

It's perfectly possible, of course, but what he's saying or how he's saying it doesn't strike me as any more delusional than the rhetoric you find in any far right corner of the world. It's crazy, of course, but in the nazi way rather than the 'this person is mentally unwell' way, at least to me. He's hanging around with Milo and Fuentes now, saying the same stuff in the same way, and they're just nazis. A lot of people just believe this shit.

With West we do have a bit more to go on. We do know that he's bipolar, and he's self sabotaging in a way that these people typically aren't (they either gain position for their views, don't have any position to begin with, or they try to stay hidden), so it's not completely the same. But I don't know.

I am reading that he asked Trump to be his vice president for 2024 election. Not sure how true it is.

If true though, I can't imagine how Trump's face would be like when he heard that proposal.

In that video above with the right wing nutters Ye openly talks about refusing lithium treatment so he if he truly has bipolar disorder and is refusing treatment for a maniac period it can certainly contribute to the agravating nonsense, though I agree it's unlikely to be the only thing wrong with him.

Remember, whenever Kanye talks about God, he is actually talking about himself.
