Three months before the injections so it's safe to say he will be back in action straight after the first international break.

He’ll be back within two months and it’ll be hailed as a miracle.

Or clubs use the word "around" to manage expectations incase recovery doesn't go completely to plan. Similar injury in 2016 kept him out for 10 weeks which would take us to the back end of November

City have so many quick recoveries, that I’m suspecting that they go to Barcelona to get cloned.
Either that, or they’ve invented one of those machines from the film ‘The Prestige’ and they make the replica before killing off the old knackered footballer.
It’s the only explanation.

Guardiola blames the Debrain injury on too much football. Well who’s fault is that then. It’s not as if Citeh haven’t got replacements benchsitters to put on.

Back end of October for sure.

The Liverpool circle-jerk is nauseating on here, Liverpool were near the top of table around December 2 seasons back and they only ended up scraping fourth. They have improved a lot but there is an awful long way to go (37 games left you cnuts). Also, don't understand why everyone is expecting us to go backwards. We're weak in certain areas such as right wing and left back but so are Liverpool. Dejan Lovren is still going to play at the heart of their defence lest we forget.
Five points above Chelsea in 5th is not exactly scraping 4th. United only finished 4 points above Spurs so did you scrape 2nd ?

Knowing their luck with the injuries, he will back in 2 months . They won't miss him though, as they have Bernardo.

Yes but you're assuming that the Pogba's level/actual performance under Jose is the same level it would be under Pep. KDB wasn't this good with Pellegrini the same with the whole City team. They went another level when Pep arrived. Don't underestimate the difference a manager or the quality of players make. Pogba walks straight into any team in the world if fit imo.
Good post. the coach plays important key in getting best out of the players. KDB at Belgium was average compared to City but at the same time, Pogba in France is better than KDB in Belgium during the World Cup. I think many people underestimate Pogba and forget all of the achievement Pogba have done outperformed KDB by a huge margin before he came here, he was in FIFA's Best XI, Golden boy, UEFA team of the week, best young players at the world cup 2014, 5th Ballon d'Or.

I'm not biased but KDB may be better but he's far more consistent, Pogba is more talented, gifted but sometime he's inconsistent.

If you ask City fans in 2015 when they were targetting Pogba or KDB but many City fans would prefer Pogba over KDB.

Which £50m reserve player would that be?

Bernardo Silva was £43m
Gundogan was £20m
David Silva was £25m
Foden is academy product.
Ah so sorry, £43m back up player.

Or one of the £50m+ wingers they can play and change formation.

Bad news for United fans :(
Let's hope Liverpool don't capitalise too much on this!

Shows the gulf between City and other top teams.

KDB is world class, but City will cope without him as they're style of play and squad depth is truly unique.

If we lose Lukaku or Pogba, we are badly hurt, Chelsea lose Hazard, they haven't got a top quality back up, Spurs lose Kane etc......

Learn to read first. The post said two seasons back aka 2016/17 where you were near the top around Christmas only to scrape 4th on final day of the season.

Also since you're so bullish about your finish last season, didn't you finish six points off us too? Then why is it hard for you to understand some fans might be annoyed since Liverpool leapfrogging us is almost an inevitability if you were to read the media.

This fawning over Pep is a bit much, they signed a very talented 24 year old for 50-60 million before the market even kicked off. He was hugely hyped from his time at Wolfsburg and was signed with the expectation that he'd become exactly what he is now. Players about to enter their peak tend to improve ffs. You'd think he'd turned Nasri into Ronaldo the way some people talk.

Speedy recovery to him, the PL is poorer if he doesn't play.

Did you say 2016/17 ?

:D

Do I come across bullish ? Thought I was just pointing out the points difference altough I did misread your post. Five points is not scraping through and I dont read the media stuff.
