20 year old who scored against Spain for Georgia in a 2-1 defeeat and was perhaps the best player on the pitch for the day with his corners and crosses causing problems as well as scoring their 1 goal with a touch and left footed finish

Plays for Rubin Kazan in Russia where he has 3 goals and 4 assists this season

His dribbling ability is crazy. Been watching videos of him for a while, but tonight was the first time I've seen him in a full game against legit opposition.

I love that he's an actual good dribbler - the close control, ball manipulation, shoulder drops, body fakes, trickery - and not just another of the many 'good dribblers' we have a lot of nowadays, where it's just about them being fast and knocking the ball by a defender before running onto it again (meaning they're only effective with space behind) coupled with flashy, low-percentage skill moves.

We've desperately needed a genuinely good dribbler at United for such a long time. It'd go a long, long way to helping us break down low-block teams... as well as just relieving the general boredom that so many of our matches descend into.

Is that name a deal breaker? I like to be able to spell the names of our players correctly and with this one... even if I could, I don't think I'd be bothered.

Transfermarkt has him with 8 assists?

I've only watched a few full or nearly full Rubin Kazan games this season, but he obviously has excellent raw talent for dribbling and is very entertaining. Other parts of his game are a lot more inconsistent, though are good enough for his age to suggest if he develops well he can be more than just a dribbling specialist. rpl is falling apart, so he should move as soon as a decent club makes an offer for him.

Kvaratskhelia? Sounds like something you'd yell when you step on a Lego barefooted.

Maybe its 8 including cup competitions. Whoscored only has data for the russian league

His dribbling looks great. Haven’t seen that many good dribblers lately.

Better than Kinkladze?

The kind of players Leicester sign for cheap, then quote us 80 million two years later.

Phew, came into the thread concerned for Ekeke. Thankfully it's not a stroke.

Team Viewer on the front

Kvaratskhelia on the back

Get it done Woody

Yeah he’s got skill but there was plenty of bad decision making in those videos.

He’s 20 so you’d let him off hoping he learns but it looked like plenty of times to slow things down, look for a pass or get a shot off early instead of trying to beat another man that someone has when they’ve grown up being able to dribble past everyone without learning the other basics.

I bet he ends up in the Bundesliga or something and never really makes it before returning to anonymity in Russia.

Gesundheit.

How is his entire name pronounced?
gotta love the internet hive mind:
https://forvo.com/user/vuzimunikori/pronounced-words/

I love also how some random georgian dude woke up one morning and went "hey lets upload some famous names so foreigners won't botch them horribly" and he goes for:
- the most prominent intellectual figure in Georgia's XIX century nation-building
- one of georgian football all-time legends
- and... this guy

There oughta be some hype about him back home.

Can't make it with that name - no chance.

Needs to - immediately - start using some sort of nickname that will replace his insanely un-catchy actual name.

He should call himself Karat Hell. And have that on his back. As in - he's so good it's hell to determine what karat/carat he is (beyond 24 or whatever it is).

Alternatively - Karate Hell. Which is even better - and could be the title of a 1990s Van Damme movie.

He’d be worth it just for the penalties he’d win, and consequently, the scenes among opposition fans when Fernandes ends top scorer with 93% of his goals from penalties.

I can't remember the last time we had a Soviet player. Rubin Kazan from my recollection is a pretty decent team, they used to play in the Champions League a few years ago, always give a good game.

Just watched the videos, and he reminds me a bit of David Ginola.

3 goals, 2 assists in Napoli's first two friendlies. Hit the post twice too.

Admittedly Napoli won their first game 10-0 against an amateur side...but some of his touches and dribbling were brilliant across the two games.

Gonna be interesting to see how he does this year in a proper league.

His second was nice too. Looks very good. Over dribbles sometimes but its to be expected.

We need to up our scouting. Napoli have already replaced the players that left this summer. Kvaradona is a terrifying prospect.

Has looked terrific in the two games. The ball is glued to his feet at times when running, though Monza today gave him lots of space, looks two footed as well. One that got away I guess, Napoli will never let him go easy if he keeps playing like this

That goal when he dropped the shoulder and cruised past the defender was a beauty. I've got his name marked on a post-it. Not all of it fit, mind you.

Where's he worth more: Transfermarkt or Scrabble?
FFS :lol::lol:

It's something he'll slowly work out of his game with time like a young Ronaldo did when he arrived at United.

Napoli have a director (Giuntoli) who is good

He found many players: kouliubaly, ziekinski, fabian ruiz, lobotka, oshimen, zapata, lozano, mertens, di lorenzo and many others
