They also have less teams in the league compared to the EPL. So I really think freshness is a definite advantage.

Playing against conference level teams every week must be boring him.

Not really due to how teams set up, rather his motivation.
He’s not really bothered by league games so he does his job and that’s pretty much it, but is a beast in the UCL, and that’s all that matters for now really
