Good job you are only pretty sure and not fully sure.

Kompany - 4 Premier Leagues, 2 FA Cups, 4 League Cups. Played 360 games at City.
Valencia - 2 Premier Leagues, 1 FACup, 2 League Cups, 1 Europa Leaue. Played 340 games at United.

Also for what its worth. Valencia has more trophies than 2/3rds of Uniteds Holy Trinity Statue outside Old Trafford (George Best, Denis Law).

at United...
Wes Brown - 5 League Titles, 2 Champions Leagues, 2 FA Cups, 2 League Cups. - 11 trophies.
Bobby Charlton - 3 League Titles, 1 Champions League, 1 FA Cups. 5 trophies.

Using the logic of what one has won in legendary status, United would have to knock the holy trinity and build one to Brown, Valencia and John O'Shea instead. See how ridiculous that point is?

To expand on the winning futher, United are a club spoiled with winners and legends. 20 League titles and 3 CL's. Valencia was never a key players and involved in a minor amount of that. 2 titles. Less than 1/10th of your clubs major honors.

City in their entire existence have won 6 titles. Kompany has been a huge part of 4 and captain for 3. He literally lifted 50% of our entire haul of league titles.
We've won 6 FA Cups in our existence, Kompany was there for 2. I believe captain in both finals (think he was captain for the day last season).
We've won 6 League Cups, Komapny has again been involved in 4.

We've won 19 major trophies in our existence... Kompany has been involved in 10. Bobby Charton has 6.. 5 at United of their 40+ or whatever crazy number it is. In no way am I saying Kompany is Bobby Charlton, just how stupid it is to dismiss a players impact on a club because another player at another club has won more.

Its the equivalent of saying Vardy can't be a legend at Leicester because Darren Ferguson has the same amount of major trophies. Complete lack of perspective.
The holy trinity were the first players to win the European cup for Manchester United and all three were European player of the year.

You missed the point. It wasn't to slight the holy trinity, only to say that the poster's criteria is ridiculous.

If RvP would ve gone without injuries longer he likely would've been a contender for top 10 or top 25 players of all time. What ball control, shot power, vision and positioning the man had/still has.

The guy was exactly what they needed. Someone who was at the club before the mercs started coming in, with the capacities to be their leader and talented enough (which the likes of Hart and Richards weren't) to keep up with the very best of them when they finally gelled. And it helps that he married a Mancunian.

The irony: he ended up at City ... because he was so injury prone. Was enormously hyped when he was 17 but injuries held him back. He missed like 2 full seasons out of his first 5 as a pro. Was always destined for the top teams very early on not a mid table PL club.

All 3 were amazing players and deserving of their accolades and statue, but you wouldn't belittle their status because they've won less than Valencia right?

So nostalgic to see all the former players on the pitch. Miss the good old PL days. Even Benjani's celebration was a blast from the past.

Dammit Robin, should've added one more year to your career. God knows our team could use your striking abilities so far this season.

Milner was booed by a smattering of Manchester City supporters when he touched the ball during Vincent Kompany’s testimonial.

The legendary City centre-back oversaw a team of current and former Citizens face a Premier League All-Stars XI to celebrate his 11-year stint at the club.

Former captain Kompany – whose City career was plagued by injury in its final years – ironically missed out on his own testimonial due to hamstring injury.

But Milner was among those involved, coming off the bench to replace _____.
