I just don't see how they would be able to pull this off due to FFP...he'd have to cost more than the 200m PSG paid for Neymar
 
Allegedly dealings going on behind the scenes to sign Mbappe, with Kane as a smokescreen. Does this officially place me into transfer muppetry? I've never gotten sucked in this early but the Summer is soon upon us.

If Qatar buy us, I expected Mbappe to join us, no brainer to bring your prized player to your new crown jewel asset club. He’s not happy at PSG.

This is a no brainer for Mbappe, he can fight out for the top player status against Haaland.

As a newbie forum member (despite being a 50yr old lifelong Utd fan) I don't have the luxury at the moment to waste my 3 precious messages I get a day to comment too much on this, but let me give you my one comment of wisdom.

This ain't happening. Not now or in the next 5yrs. If he's worth £200m+ then NO club will be in for him.

Unless Ryan Renolds convinces him to come to Wrexham for a bit part in Deadpool 3 and a cheeky go on Sandra Bullock.
 
We were told in some other thread we shouldn't take him as this wouldn't be the manager's choice or something. I fully agree. Sure we have no proper number 9. Sure Mbappe is with Haaland the best striker in the world and that might stay like that for the next 10 years. But feck that.

Was the question I asked too. Got no reply. Some mentioned this doesn't matter as we should first seek EtH's opinion on player material. I guess this phone call would last 5 seconds max. You want him? Yes.
 
Well I guess his next club will be the one that can afford his absolutely obscene wages. Surely though there comes a time when a player prices themselves out of the market because no club can afford them other than the insanely wealthy like PSG? So in order to move he'd need to take a pay cut.

Not exactly common for top players to take pay cuts to be fair. So he's probably staying at PSG until age drags his wage demands down. Or he follows Ronaldo off to the Far East.
 
Please bear in mind there was absolutely no sense in me bumping this thread. I only wanted to be a transfer muppet. It was a self centred move on my part.
 
The thought of having Haaland at City and fecking Mbappe at United would be incredible...

Hard to see it though with all the uncertainty surrounding the sale unfortunately
 
Mbappe over neymar would be a miles better Transfer strategy.

If Mbappe has issues with the Qataris at PSG, why would he want to jump from the frying pan into the fire with the same ultimate owners from Qatar? I would love to have Mbappe, as he is one of the few players in the world who you would expect to be massively successful wherever they went.
