Barcelona are so bad to watch.

It's unbelievable how much hype that team gets in the Netherlands, probably because of De Jong.

This was hideous to watch. Slow, boring football where nothing happens.

Villarreal have come back from break pretty good. It seems (probably wrong) they’ve won every game apart from against Barcelona

6 wins out of 8, also drew 2-2 at home against Sevilla.

Barca play like the players don't train at all. it's insane how slow everything is and I watched Sheffield vs Wolves before this game, which only makes it worse. if they trully gave up chasing Madrid, they should play their younger players then.

and man, how quickly things can change when you don't invest wisely. club that had Fabregas, Alcantara, Xavi, Iniesta and Busq in their squad now don't have a single midfielder I would want at United. trully a retirement home.

They didn't look like scoring before the red.

Looks like this title race is over.

10 v 10 suits Barca better than 11 v 11 as theres more space. 1st one was a stonewall red, 2nd one looked a yellow but he did go down his shin.

He just rambles on about everything its really annoying. Messi plays the ball to Suarez "Nice ball Graham" "

Yes it is, its the Nike Pro 10, the first football was invented by John C Pigsbladder in 1522 when he cut open his pig thinking it was preganant... (20 minutes go by)
than in 1982 Nike made their first football, the Nike 1, it was round and people could kick it."

Espanyol to Segunda, a pity, although they had been walking the wire for a few years. Another example of a foreign owner who has not contributed anything positive.
Now they will probably do a cleanup and focus on the academy. Good opportunity for some team to go for Marc Roca

It’s always going to be hard going up against a parked bus and playing a game every 3 days is going to catch up with a lot of teams.

Having said that, it’s good to see Griezmann is looking more comfortable in the new formation.

Guardian said:
Espanyol’s new Chinese owner says he wants the Barcelona-based club to compete in the Champions League “within three years.”

The businessman Chen Yansheng was presented as the Spanish club’s owner on Thursday after finalising his purchase of a controlling 54% stake.

His says his ambition is to turn Espanyol into a rival of Barcelona. “I am sure the city of Barcelona can have two strong clubs,” said Chen, adding that he hopes “to have the club debt-free and in the Champions League in three years”.

Espanyol has never played in the Champions League. They twice reached the final of the Uefa Cup, the current Europa League, losing on both occasions in a penalty shootout.
How have Espanyol gone from 7th to relegation. Granted, they lost their manager Rubi to Betis.

Espanyol is doomed as long as their current foreign owner stays.
Espanyol were in EL this season actually. I'm informed about the ownership screwing them like Lim with Valencia

Sevilla won yesterday away from home against Bilbao after being 1:0 behind.

Good match, where both teams with very good spells. I didn't expect so much quality football. Banega showed a masterclass, scoring from a free-kick and assisting the second goal. Sadly he is leaving at the end of the season to play for a club in Saudi Arabia. He is such an elegant and complete player, when motivated and on form; Sevilla is going to miss him badly. Usually he would have already left, but extended his contract for the last few games. Big thanks to him.
He has/had a very good career, but I can't help to think that he could have been much more.

Might be one of the biggest bust in recent history for a club of that size. What a waste of his opportunity.

Another soft pen for RM. Almost as lucky as us this season
How is that a cheap penalty?
Just because VAR and RM have become something of a topic, doesnt mean you get to re-write history, this one is a clear penalty.

Anyone who actually saw that can see he left his leg out.
And calm down, didn't say it wasn't a pen. Said it was soft. But defend made contact so can see why it was given. Just help that Mendy left his leg there to get touched.
Enjoy the match.
