Barca kinda lucky to be 3-3 after being so comfortable first half.

Barcelona needs to replace their entire defensive line, maybe leave Alba for rotation and hope that out of Mingueza/Araujo one ends up as at least credible #3 option. God only knows how they are contending for the title with Lenglet, Umtiti, and Pique who has more or less given up on football to pursue other interests.

You'd think its a straight up shootout between the Madrids right now. Barca done. Likely 4 behind with 2 to play

Atlético and Real Madrid will go and lose/draw in order not to win the league.

Messi needs to leave really. You can't need to score 3 goals away and yet not win.

Madrid may drop at Bilbao but Atleti aren't dropping in two games so don't think tonight matters much.

Yeah, I think Atletico will only draw once and win the rest of their matches but Barca need to clean house this summer

Barcelona have collapsed since the last international break. Their mentality, belief and hunger were spent with the Copa title. It's like they never truly believed this Liga could be won: losing both matches against R.Madrid, and dropping points against the likes of Eibar and Cádiz. They have dropped 7 points out of the last 9! Their worst form since autumn 2020. Full circle. Season's over.

They desperately need at least one CB (Eric García? Is he that good?) and a new DM, but several veteran players are done (Stegen, Piqué, Busquets, Alba) and Laporta seems hell bent on signing Haaland (how?). Certainly not the favorites to win the 21-22 La Liga next season, especially with a mediocre summer transfer window incoming (no money, man).

They really let Messi, de Jong, Pedri, etc down. Messi is dragging them into title contention with his form and all the defence had to do what not bottle leads versus minor clubs. They'd be top by now, almost certainly. Worst of all, no one is going to remember Messi playing at Ballon D'or levels this season due to this momentous feck up by Koeman and the defence at this pivotal moment.

Theoretically speaking, with a decent top 8 PL starting level center back in average form instead of Lenglet throughout this season (who genuinely might have cost them a double digit number of points even if you only count cardinal mistakes in the last 10-15 minutes of the game which ended up effecting the result directly) they'd be crowned already.

Was Lenglet good at Sevilla? I recall he had a good game against United but not much else

Dunno, I guess he was otherwise they probably wouldn't have went for him. Crazy thing is he was actually good for Barcelona in the beginning. He looked like a good #3 CB choice, even later as a starter while Umtiti was recuperating. Unfortunately IIRC during the second season he started playing badly at some point, a couple of bad mistakes and then probably his confidence got shot completely. Maybe if they had other options they could have left him out for a while to recharge, but with the CB situation at Barcelona Koeman was more or less forced to play him regularly with predictable results.

Lenglet is shit. So many mistakes and even own goals from him. And Pique isn't far from it.

Winning La Liga for Barcelona was a dream after the summer and mid season they had with all the fuss about Bartomoeu's resign.

Without Super League they're in deep problems. I don't know how some people believed they could bring Neymar back. Not to mention Haaland. Laporta will not have the same luck he had almost 20 years ago with Dinho and Pep.

Really hope Atleti can win it, though I don’t want to see Suarez experience joy in any part of his life. I’ll allow it in this instance

Its good for them in the long run If clear out happens and they get a proper manager after this collapse

I thought Barca won 3-2, and then i see 3-3 as the end result.

How do they manage to feck up every single time now?

What the hell is up with Barcelona mentality. They drew one game. Their rivals still haven't played. It's perfectly plausible given everyone's form that they will end this 36th round having gained a point on their rivals. And they're talking about how they have 'practically no options' now?

If Atletico don't win this Liga, they are truly cursed. It's in their hands completely. Barcelona is in a bit of a flux and has a weak defense, Madrid's core players are absolutely knackered and the others are injured all the time. Simeone cannot mess this one up.

Everytime we make subs, everything falls apart. It’s so bizarre. Superb first half and then everything went tits up from the 60 minute onward. We don’t deserve the league anyway, but this stretch has been quite bizarre
