Good game, on Hazard, I think he tries and has improved but he can't reach a sufficient level.
I think Vini needs to rest for a couple of weeks.
He barely had time but we could already see something of Peter Federico, who apparently has a great dribble.
Even with a big downturn, which Ancelotti suffered in the past, la liga seems won

Hazard was playing today? I thought Isco had been given the nr. 7.

We are going to win this league because we have Courtois, Militao, Vini and God

That's it

Barcelona with 18 players not available for Mallorca.
And weeks ago matches were suspended because 3 Argentine players left with their national team.

And of the few players available 3 are goalkeepers.
I put Ter Stegen as a centre forward and I leave Luuk De Jong as a substitute.

Probably should go in the Corona virus in football thread? Few other La Liga teams have similar issues too I think from ESPN article on it.

Exactly what is happening in England will happen in all the leagues and it'll go on until the end of the Season?

In Spain right now it is full of Covid and in mid to late January this will be brutal.

The players are irresponsible, a few days ago you saw Dembele at his wedding and no one with a mask, Vinicius, Dest and some more in Miami also without a mask and now all positive.
The teams have enough players to cover 7-8 positives and you can also count on players from the academy, but when there are also more casualties due to injuries the logical thing is to suspend the game.

People do not pay, and a lot of money by the way, to watch matches of Barcelona b, Celta b, Madrid b...

Athletic Club have had four tested positive today, there was one a couple of days back and the manager is also positive.

The Athletic Club reports that, following PCR tests carried out in Lezama, players from the men's first team Lekue, Raúl Garcia, Asier Villalibre and Unai Nuñez have tested positive for COVID-19. The affected are in good health and following the health protocol of isolation at their home.

Good for Dembele getting married, you can't really expect him to mask up at his own wedding? The issue here is we can't realistically expect footballers to never socialise forevermore. My guess is most of these guys are vaxxed (how enter the US otherwise?) (Positives at Chelsea are too mainly I think.). In some ways you kind of think fair play to them...., I'd be in Miami right now if I could be .

It's not an issue that will go away (ever?), football going to need to figure out how players can have any kind of normal existence with Covid around.

We must all socialize, the issue is when we should do it.
In the midst of the largest wave of infections with a new and very contagious variant is not the smart thing to do.
They can stay at home for one or 2 months and leave when the incidence is very low.
Not when it's at 1500+ per 100,000 habitants.

I was expecting this to be an El Chiringuito compilation, but that's amazing nonetheless.

Speaking of El Chiringuito...

Pablo Sobrado is a legend in twitter Madrid, basically retweeting stuff from years ago and this kind of videos :D
I hadn´t seen Pedrerol :lol::lol: .
It's going to be a very long 6 months. I imagine they will have a great follow-up in the Champions League tie.

Dramatic defeat away to Getafe.

1-0

Good chance for Sevilla to shorten distance with leaders.

Mallorca - Barcelona, quite possibly the worst game I have ever seen. Mallorca play as they are leading 1-0, when they are in fact down by a goal against a youth team. When giving away free-kicks, they throw the ball away for some reason, which of course slows the game and gives them less time to score. Mallorca haven’t just created absolutely zero at home, it’s like they don’t want to, or know the rules of the point system.

We laugh at the product and love the English dominance, but this is seriously not good for the future of top football in Europe.

Barcelona has 17 casualties between injuries and covid and Mallorca also had quite a few casualties.

Serious analyses are done with context in mind.

Pep and Klopp are gonna leave PL one day, that will reduce the dominance.

Even though I'm sure PL is gonna get the next promising manager from Spain,Italy or Germany.

We are missing an insane amount of players, absolutely nothing to take from this game in regards to quality of the league

If only it had gone in. The most mediocre Barca hero of all time.

Morata to Barcelona 95% done, according to Diario As.

Xavi Hernandez trusts Morata will be available vs Real Madrid in Supercopa.

Looks like we're close to signing Coutinho on loan. Anyone know how long is left on his Barca deal as apparently has option to buy in deal.

Pique should have been off too. Could have been even worse if they would have to defend with 9 men for around 10 minutes.
