Exactly. He was playing like it was a preseason friendly.
He has looked complacent for a few weeks now. If he's buying into his own hype, someone needs to have a word.

Because they're not as talented as they're made out to be. Or rather they are, but not ready. We should have a proper LW, 10 and RW, and Martial and Rashford should be brought in as the youngsters they are. Martial would benefit from more quality in attack and only being brought in on rotation imo. Less pressure and more movement.

Right after the CL freak goal, Rashford has been playing badly lately. All his decision making were way off as if he doesn't know what to do. May be even the free kick was a freak decision.

Been saying this all season long.

The quality of our front four is far away from the required level. This team is crying out for an experienced winger and creative attacking midfielder.

Now this half we've been very wasteful. Martial, Lingard and Rashford all failing to score when 1 vs 1. The latter was probably a penalty though.
The ref will probably argue the goalie got some of the ball. Rashford though was already moving away from the goal as he seemed to lose control & should have done better. Also a few minutes later Maguire was seemingly manhandled in the penalty area by Smalling, so these things evened out. Actually, I was pleased Moss didn't give either decision, unlike so many of his colleagues, who seem to give penalties for pathetic reasons, & ruin the games.

If it happens once its on the players, if its happens consistently then its also the managers fault. Otherwise why pay him so much? Anyone can figure out tactics.
  • But when your team squanders chances, because we are forced to rely on backup level inconsistent youngsters that's on the manager for not building his squad appropriately.
  • When the players play defensively like we are a bottom table team playing against 10 men opposition, that's on the manager!
  • When you fail to make proper adjustments with an injured player and that costs you the game, that's on the manager.
  • When the team fails to keep possession with the clock winding down that's on the manager. Look at Guardiola's team. Up 2-1, they had us at the corner flag looking like idiots kicking the ball off our shin. And we have the likes of Rashford & Young doing silly giveaways.
That is the difference between good coaching and bad. Yes its the players fault, but its systematic of a much larger issue with coaching.
