Three at the back really suits him. Think he would be somewhat more exposed as part of a CB partnership. Lots to work on, but he’s already playing well and has unbelievable potential to improve.

He's absolutely wonderful. You see defenders sometimes bully attackers with physicality, this lad bullies them with his pure quality.

Great ball carrying and passing and as always what has surprised me pleasantly is that he always competes for aerials, blocks and challenges. Still has a lot to learn but his improvement since arriving has been very good.
He’s absolutely brilliant. Going to be a legend for the club if he stays for the majority of his career. Let’s hope we can buy some more young hungry players of immense talent

I counted one sloppy defensive moment when we were under pressure in the first half, but no performance is perfect and he was easily the most assured of our defenders tonight, by some distance.
His ability to carry the ball is special too, nice lay off to Mount (who's touch and shot were world class) to set up the goal, he stood up really tall tonight.

I was unsure about him after his opening performances, but he's just got better and better. A top class player and a brilliant signing. I adore him.
