Has a defender stayed fit for an entire season in the last 5 years? There's something seriously fecked up without the amount of them getting injured.

It’s not foolproof but it does minimise the risk
Me too, it just seems so much more straightforward when playing with a back 4.
Any player rarely stays fit for an entire season. Dalot has been fit for us, Mazroui, the supposed crock, has been fit and Dorgu hasn't had an injury all season despite playing 90 minutes pretty much every game in Italy.
I wouldn't be surpsirsd if it's worst case scenario and he's out for 3 months.

Fair enough, our fitness coach and physios have been great so. I just seemed to think most of our games, at least one defender gets injured.
Any updates on his injury? We are so heavily reliant upon a 19 year old kid. We need him for Spurs.

Played well the other night especially late on when he came forward joining up play with teammates in front of him.

Didn't he also say something about it being the same problem as the issue at the beginning of the season though? That's the worry for me.
Pretty sure there's only been three times in the last nineteen seasons since 06/07 (perhaps longer?) that we haven't had an injury crisis in our defence at some stage.
15/16 - Smalling-Blind
19/20 - Maguire-Lindelof
20/21 - Maguire-Lindelof (even then Lindelof played with a back injury most of the season and Maguire missed the last few games with an ankle injury)
Every other season we've had at least one period where we've been scrambling around trying to get enough fit defenders as most of them have been injured all at the same time, often having to play midfielders in defence. That's despite having (by pure numbers anyway) more depth in our defence than just about any other team out there.
He wouldn't be dribbling forwards in a back 4 though.CB's carrying the ball forwards is very much a feature of a back 3. Doesn't really happen with only two CB's on the pitch.
He was walking without a protective boot after the game yesterday which suggests it's nothing serious.
Trying to figure out if it's good news or bad news that there's been no update today. I guess it's typically a day off for the players but if a scan was needed we'd have probably heard that was the case from one of the journalists
No updates on this guy? My hope is that the manager told the players to come off even if there was the slightest worry, and that it’s not serious.
He looked pretty distraught coming off, looked like a reoccurrence of the injury that kept him out before. The manager's comments were interesting though.

With no update until now its pretty much 50/50. Scans must have been done by now. I fear the worst, hope for the best.
At this stage I dont really care if Leny is out for the final. I only care he hasnt done his metatarsal again, that would be devastating for Yoro: a ray of light in this backline, future top CB badly wanted by Madrid and the likes. He will come back strong from any setback anyway, too young to not to.
Surely he would have had a scan by now and we’d know extent of injury?

He would have not walked out of the stadium without a boot or crutches if he had done his metatarsal, so it isn’t that.
I’m more concerned of whether it’s minor enough for him to make the final. Even a bad sprain could rule him out.
I mean he said Heaven's might not be too bad and we haven't seen him since.
Heaven did come back though. He was on the bench for a game which I can’t remember. But apparently he had another issue after he came back.
