Incredible defending at the end, managed both situations really well, showed urgency when he got the ball. Good performance from him.

Kudos to the lad for staying focused at 0-1.
Thanks to him, we stayed in the match.

He was assertive and therefore dominant.

Great performance, love to see it.

One of the few bright sparks.

Looked a bit quicker and sharper than under Amorim (similar to Kobbie of late).

Their additional personal fitness regimes paying off perhaps.

What an appearance from the bench. Earned a start after that, fair play lad!

Just play this guy. He won't get better sitting out there watching. Had a good cameo today, the only player who "really" stood out which isn't saying much but credit where credit is due.

Excellent performance.

Hopefully he gets more game time, I appreciate Maguire, he's been good but Yoro should be given more game time as he is the future of the club and Maguire is out next season.

Maguires always good for set pieces though.

Yoro did really well when he came on.
I think Yoro should at least be part of a rotation between the 3. I'm not sure even Martinez deserves to just be granted a place in the lineup every single week considering he is prone to a defensive lapse at least once a game.

Excellent cameo in what's been a difficult season for the lad.

Merci

Hope he can now kick on

Hope Maguire is ok, but would love to see what Yoro can do in a back 4. Will also be nice to have another centre-back who can carry the ball and move it a bit quicker.

Man of the match and he was only on for 5 minutes. Some really good decision making.

Without his counter attack defending we could have lost that by a few clear goals. He's not had a sniff of late really so impressive to slot back in so naturally.

Great to see him back at his best, that moment where he picked the perfect second to jump in on Wilson knowing trouble was waiting behind him was a sign of how talented this kid is.

Superb. Those two goal saving challenges kept us in it before the last-minute equaliser.

Hopefully he kicks on after a great sub performance. Been a pretty disappointing season but he's young and has so much quality

Our best defender for that particular scenario — defending in a high line, especially when the opponents are breaking through.

Good cameo. I do hope that he’s going to be getting more minutes, he needs those (even though Maguire had been playing very well lately).

The way he defended the Wilson chance was so elite. Had to be aware of the central attacker and only commit to Wilson at the last possible second. Sort of thing that MNF used to spend 10
minutes analysing when VVD was at his first season with Liverpool.
There were some numpties in the matchday thread criticising him for not closing down Wilson sooner.

I had flashbacks of Heaven Vs Semenyo whilst it was happening, but he really handled it expertly

Absolutely brilliant coming in tonight. Great last ditch defending while we piled forward for the winner. The potential is there, in spades.

I really like him. I feel our lack of games, and game time for him this season, is going to be a hindrance to his development.

Superb to see him looking fresh and he managed the two breaks well. Maybe a bit of time out of the pressure cooker has been good for him mentally/physically as well.

I like Yoro but his lack of game time of late is his own doing more than anything else.

He has time.

Clearly showed he has a role in the team. Against such teams that will sit deep, having Yoro to offer pace and reliable one on one defending is going to help a lot - gives us more confidence to commit forward in more numbers. Outstanding tonight.

He looked like he rediscovered himself today, he showed good recovery pace and made some crucial tackles. I hope he's completely put the poor performances behind him and can start genuinely contributing to our CL push. We will need him because Maguire looks like he needs some rest.

Defended brilliantly when West Ham were breaking and had overloads. If only he was as comfortable passing as he is carrying the ball, but it's a minor quibble. One of the few players who takes credit from the match tonight.
