Outside of Trump, I don’t think I’ve seen a single person who wasn’t Argentinian who wanted Argentina to win. They are just so thoroughly unlikable. Pretty much cnuts from top to bottom. And that’s before you even get to the pathetic excuse for a performance they turned in tonight. Embarrassing stuff.

Football won, thank god. And I’ve now seen Messi and Ronaldo cry in the same tournament and that’s probably the highlight for me.

I wanted them to beat England, wanted Spain to win tonight but would have laughed if Argentina undeservedly won it on pens.
 
They did exceptionally well to make the final given their quality. But considering that, it was naturally not a good final.

Must admit, I started the game wanting Argentina to win, solely because of Martinez. Quickly changed my tune when he went off injured.
 
cnuts got what they deserved tonight. Pathetic, dirty team.
 
It would have been a travesty if they fluked that, especially after getting away with some absurd officiating in their favour throughout the tournament, achieving a whooping 0 shots on target in 120 mins in the final, as well as being utter insufferable shithouses. We also would have never heard the end of Messi securing a magical back to back.

Thankfully football won, Trump had to congratulate a country he's beefing with in person, and that megacnut Fernandez got sent off and ultimately cost his team the game.

A happy ending for an otherwise shite world cup.
