this is must be the worst title defense of any top division football in recent history, and that's including our own pathetic attempt in 13/14.

I take back everything I've ever said about him and his boring sides, they are pure entertainment now.
Agreed. I honestly look forward to them more than any other game not involving Arsenal. It's a guarantee for hilarity.

The best thing is nobody dares question the Specialist in Hilarity - hopefully that continues!

I'm questioning the stupid turd. It's pointless though because he genuinely believes we only lose because the ref is against us.

Don't think Chelsea will sack him. I think the board has already written off this season.

Bad result for them today, Newcastle within 2 points of them.

Maureen to leave, Carlo Ancelotti to replace him. His presence at the club is toxic, if he doesn't go, it'll get worse.

People saying they can't laugh much because we are doing so badly, ffs!

We are 4th from top, they are 4th from bottom.

People are such drama queens, the only team we have lost out to are Arse and they will slip up sooner rather than later. The PL is such a weak league.

We lost to Swansea as well. Agree with that though, I think anybody who can't see just how utterly hilarious Chelsea have been this season maybe takes football a little too seriously.

I think he means 'lost out to this weekend'. If I didn't laugh when watching United, I would cry. With that in mind, I'm laughing to my hearts content at Chelsea's plight.

Jose will be gone end of the season. Anceloti makes sense.

Valencia job for Jose? It was hinted at at Gary Neville's interview.
Too many challengers for Jose. Will he have a lot of funds to work with there?

He should stay for the season, the experience of getting promoted from 1st division to prem will be good for him! Hahaha

I think they will stick with him. If they wanted to sack him, they would have done it. They have already left it too late. I think hey have written the season off. All that is left is to avoid relegation and finish in the top half.

They're not getting relegated, pfff.

They will eventually consolidate and ride on other teas dropping points to finish a respectable 6th-7th. A long way to go yet.

We're defensively solid by I don't think teams come to Old Trafford with the fear of god in them. I think most of them fancy their chances because they know we won't create much.
To compare that to this is absurd. Mourinho went 9 years unbeaten at home in his career overall and 90 games unbeaten at home with Chelsea. It was a massive shock when Sunderland beat them at the end of 13/14.

This season they've lost 4 home games in 10 games. That's incredible. If people can't enjoy a bit of schadenfreude in this case then they must just be a bit masochistic when it comes to football. This is hilarious.

It was a fantastic performance from them (Onuhoa even scored if I remember correctly).

To put that more in perspective.

We are 3 points from 1st.

Chelsea are 2 points from relegation zone.

At least we're still competing whilst playing crap.

Most likely to be Ancelotti
Probably will be, just thought it was funny how much Mourinho is struggling this season while Ranieri is soaring.

EDIT: mind you if we're considering bringing back former Chelsea managers who are currently unemployed, a certain FSW (who in fairness did a good job in trying circumstances previously at Chelsea) may find himself surplus to requirements at Real very soon...

maybe mourinho will get the boot after a loss to Rainieri's Leicester?

If they replaced Mourinho with Ancelotti tomorrow I think they'd still have a shot at top 4. I think they're going to have to replace him at some point anyway.
Can't see them making up 14 points regardless of who the manager is and that's why I think they won't sack him. The way Mourinho spoke after the match, it was as if the whole club has agreed to bin the season.

It's only 11 points to Spurs. I expect Leicester to drop off at some point, so their competition is Spurs and Pool. It's a long shot, but a short winning run could see them narrow that to something manageable over the course of half a season. Does seem as if Chelsea have already thrown in the towel, though. I just don't see it getting much better regardless of how long they wait.

Chelsea's demise is hilarious. I love watching the likes of Matic and Hazard struggle as people on here were drooling over them last season.

They played very well though. It's not like it was undeserved.

I'm not being funny but without CL places (looking ever increasingly like a probable scenario), which of their players will ride out a season without European football?

Hazard? Not for me Clive. He's won everything he needs to in England. He'll be begging for PSG. Suarez and Ronaldo syndrome - his time is done and he'll call the shot on his own exit for me.

Costa? Practically trying his best to head for Spain or a Brazilian retirement now.

Cesc? Highly doubt Barcelona want him back in this shape. Possibly a hanger on.

Courtois? Young enough to stay with a huge wage incentive.

Willian? Probably a stayer too.

Oscar? Perennially linked away as it is, this could well be the straw that breaks the camels back.
