Mbappe is ridiculous. For me, it's simple. If we keep him in check, we win. Easier said than done.

Chupo-Moting has literally made a whole career on the back of that brace he scored against us in that one game. Completely and utterly useless player.

Mbappe trying to do everything himself. Can't blame him. Everyone around him is shit.

Another one of those players who's cup final is United. No doubt he'll find a way to score against us.

Also that Denayer was monster at the back. Cleared every single ball

Psg are there for the taking. Hopefully Pogba , Martial and Rashford will cut holes through that non existent midfield. Rash and Tony may have something to prove against Mbappe as well.

Not having Neymar is huge for us and PSG, he's their main talent even with Mbappe who is very good but a little bit more predictable as he's more direct. Having Verrati back will help PSG a lot but I'm much more optimistic that we can do something with Neymar out.

That said Lyon were very good today. Whoever's in charge of recruitment at Lyon is doing very well. Ndombele looked very good, as did a fair few others.

Will watch the second half tomorrow, but Jesus didn't thought Lyon could play so well. They really have talent there. On the other hand PSG needs to improve that midfield against Man United.

Just watched the highlights, what a performance from both keepers. Areola with the one split second of hesitation that led to the equalizer, but how many sick saves he had before that. Same for Lopes in the second half, but also the header on the line by Lyon's defender was an outrageous save.

The red cards are getting weird but drawing against Montpellier is a good result, this season they are one of the better teams.

Ligue 1 has been a comedy these past few years, It's actually surrealist.
You have a team with a squad worth close to 1 billion playing against teams that have an annual budget of 30/40m, an annual budget not a transfer budget

It's actually insane. It's as if you were putting Anthony Joshua on the ring with your grandma.

Or it's basically a league that's now a lot closer to the other leagues of the world like La Liga and the Premier league where you have these financial behemoths and a bunch of minnows filling out the rest of the table.

Before PSG it was probably the most balanced of the top 5 European leagues.

How come PSG are playing Montpellier at 8pm tonight?

I thought major leagues were banned from playing at same time as CL teams which is why you see all these wierd half 5-6pm kick offs (Sevilla-Lazio is at 5pm today).

Pretty sure the premier league got fined when they put some midweek fixtures on at same time as Champions league a few seasons ago.

UEFA allowed an exception due to many reported games because of the gilets jaunes protests.
