I agree with others, if you don't like the early series then it only gets worse so I'd give up now. Generally the acting isn't bad but I think the writing is getting increasingly weak.
I also laughed at this interview last week - Jed Mercurio increasingly comes across as a total weapon. My favourite part is when he says because of his medical background he's very calm and not too precious about anything, right before he throws a huge hissy fit. Honorary mention to when he says he doesn't have any issue with people not liking his work, before they point out all the times he's called someone a c*nt or pr*ck on Twitter for exactly that reason.
