Does anyone else feel that they can’t stop now as it’s at it’s absolute peak for a TV show, the BBC are hardly going to scrap their most watched show just now are they?

And Carmichael is either obviously bent herself or utterly incompetent to not be looking at the bigger picture. Neither option is great for a supposedly smart/strong character
This is what I don’t get. The way she was acting in the last episode felt like they were completely directing you to believe she was bent. Similar to the PCC bloke (who was in Eastenders) - but then they reversed and showed that he backed Ted. They surely can’t play that card twice.

It’s gotten a bit daft in this series really. If Kate or Steve are bent it would ruin it for me and there needs to be an explanation for Carmichael continuously diverting the interviews etc. if she isn’t bent.

Yeah, I feel this too, it definitely should end. But it's not necessarily the Beeb's choice if the creators want to end it, but they've probably already took money to extend this far into something that probably wasn't fully intended when first starting out.

It's knowing the fine line of where it gets too daft and even the casuals are seeing the gaping holes... and I'd say going into 7th series will be just that, especially if they continue this endless arc.

I think this H thing needs to end, but not Line of Duty - have them investigating a new case instead.

I think there is DEFINATELY something linked to the misspelling

Hope our delayed kick off is done by 9...

Record it, or watch it back on BBC Iplayer?

 I think we grind out a 0-0 draw with Liverpool so not surprised!

Just hope the finale lives up to expectations. I don't think I can cope with it being left on a massive cliffhanger for another year!

Do we think anyone will die?

My bet is one of the 3, Kate, Steve or Ted will be injured in some sort of shoot out after they have discovered who H is, and the cliffhanger will be we wont know if they have survived or not or got to tell the team.
I feel H wont be revealed to us.

Maybe Hastings, I’ve heard he is on his way out anyway and he’s being retired in show so maybe go out in a blaze of glory..

I could see that happening

maybe Steve's back seizes up and gets him into trouble he can't get out of. There's been a lot of speculation Ted will get a hero's exit... I still can't make him out though, we know he spells definitely definately, and it's not as a lot of people claim, because he did it to mimic the OCG as in that scene where he took over the AC12 chat with them, they tried to get him not to as he hadn't done enough research yet into their wording.
Also, where is the laptop and what was on it? You don't get rid of a laptop just because it has porn on.... could the TYPE of porn be relevant- eg the type of porn those who participated in sex abuse at a boys home would watch....

Kate has made some extremely strange decisions this season, she rarely gets close to anyone, bar at a push Steve. Jo she's made some really weird decisions over.

I think grey haired woman is bent. Osborne possibly too. Out of the main 3, I think Ted, possibly Kate

I dont think any of the main 3 are bent. They may bend rules a al Ted and the money etc however not corrupt.I will be flabbergasted if any of them are. The sphere of influence is just too wide for any of them to be in control.
Kate would hardly order her own murder either. So that rules her out.

I'm so excited for this, I really hope it's a good finale.

Worried about Ted though, don't think he is going to have a happy ending.

That blithering idiot cannot be it, surely he's just a pawn. So disappointed.

anyone else think Ted was going to go back into Carmichael's officer and shoot her?

I thought they would have some big overarching story to end, not that.

I think they built up H far too long and far too big so whatever was revealed would feel underwhelming. Did enjoy the episode overall but did feel a bit deflating.

An ending that.... kinda works. But came across as utterly underwhelming.

I feel like building up a whodoneit/whoisit is one of the most exciting things a show can do if done well but in the social media age it is so hard not to disappoint. My god they did disappoint though

Surely he isn't clever enough he's a bit of a bumbling fool.... all this build up for the 4th man, suggested they are someone clever and not a bumbling fool... Surely they make another one?

it kept hinting at Osborne, which would make more sense.

I get what they were going for where sometimes you think it’s some grand mastermind scheming and it turns out to be a really simple explanation. Probably is the case in real life too.

But still, quite crap and very unsatisfying.
