Messi's goal. I didn't write the hyperbolic title of the tweet.
Argentina really play some beautiful football these days, I feel Scaloni doesn’t get enough credit sometimes.

I know the opposition wasn't great im just pleased he looks fit enough to do a job in the wc.Argentina really play some beautiful football these days, I feel Scaloni doesn’t get enough credit sometimes.
That was kevin prince boateng on Rio's podcastThis reminds of a clip i saw where a Barca player told a similar story, i can remember his name he wasn't one the biggest stars. But he said in training they would train shooting outside the box. He said Messi scored 98 out of 100 attempts(i imagine this wasn't in one traning session). And said he's just a freak. They tried telling der stegen to pull himself together but Messi would just hit the corner of the net almost every single time.
Surely the first goal scored at Inter Miami's new stadium was the goal that put Atlanta 1-0 up and not the equaliser?
Ben White would've stopped this
I’ll never get over him managing that against a defence with Rio and Vidic, probably the favourite centre half pairing ever.Imagine letting Messi score a header
901/1000
How come no one is doing a countdown to his 1000 goals. Isn’t it 98 more to go?

Full disclosure, I don’t see many of his games now so this might be a stupid take. But from what I have seen I feel like they really need to start thinking about their defence instead of the attack, is that fair? Each game I’ve seen that sideshow bob looking centre half just chases the ball like a primary school kid, regularly storming out of position and leaving massive gaps. He’ll even sprint across to the ball if his defensive partner has the man covered so it always leaves his own man free![]()
I don’t think it’s a bad league at all, obviously it’s a signticant way off Europes big leagues . But I don’t see a lot of the sides they play against being quite as frantic at the back. Again the sample size is small for me though.Honestly the standard in the MLS is so bad. Whenever someone's calls it Championship standard, it's a compliment.
One of his goals today

The only thing that matters... 905!Trouble in paradise, lost from 3 up and still no wins in the new stadium.

Messi's dribbling highlights for inter miami
They’ve also spent big money on a centre forward who usually misses the ball when he tries to shoot, saw a comical compilation online earlier. I didn’t even know until today than Mascherano had left! The only that matters... 905!
I trust Gehrman, so 905? (No idea.)What's his current tally?

Meaningless stat. He can play till he's 50 and get 1500 in some league.I know he doesn't care about hitting 1000 goals but I hope he gets to this number. It will be a shame if the GOAT doesn't hit this magic number.
I think he cares but obviously not obsessed. Otherwise he wouldn't play in the role that he plays in and gives much more frequently penalties away. He said, he stopped caring about individual records a long time ago. However he might do it just to troll the other guyHe absolutely does care about 1000 goals. We're this far into his career and you think he doesn't care about milestones still?![]()
There is probably no easy way to figure out the numbers, but he would be a lot closer to 1,000 goals had he always taken every penalty. I am certain he doesn’t give anything about reaching it.I think he cares but obviously not obsessed. Because Messi himself keeps reiterating day by day, match by match, I'll see how I feel. In his own words "Because of my age, the most logical thing is that I won't make it" in his own words. 2022 World Cup was meant to be his swansong but people are still amazed he's defying the odds, still showing up and playing at a high level, 43 goals for Inter Miami this season.Every international break since the last World Cup...
