Maybe we’ll get lucky that it won’t be serious and Simeone will still want him.

Quality control
Really need shot of him. He’s a cripple, he’s nowhere near as good as people make out and he’s a little tosser.

At this point I’m sure De Ligt has played more games for us than him. Can’t be bothered to check though.

I hope it’s not something serious and we manage to offload him.

He’s a sick note. Feck me. It’s so annoying cause he’s really important for us.

You're being optimistic.

He's on the bench, so hasnt been took down for treatment. So he must have felt something and got taken off. Doesnt seem long term.

Thigh strain, will be recovered before he even returns to pre-season.

Saw him pressing his thigh. Probably a strain. If it’s grade one it could be sorted by the time his holiday finished.

Promote Heaven and sign that lad from Leicester. Really like Licha but he cannot stay fit and doesnt have much time left on his deal.

Even if he’s fit for the start of the season or close enough he’s still proven to be hugely unreliable. If he could stay fit he’d be a perennial starter and we’d definitely benefit from his tenacity and experience, but he’s not…

Thank feck we signed Heaven

Lovely player but he can simply never stay fit for long periods of time

Until something else goes wrong a few games into the season.

If Athletico make a decent offer we should take it.

These "lets sell him because he's injured" posts are strange. First, there's no such thing as injury prone. Second, why would any other club buy a player regarded as frequently injured ? Its a strange line of thought.

Feel sorry for him but he can’t play more than once a week at best so sense of inevitability about it.

The guy is a crock that gets excuses made for him because he is well liked and lots of fans can’t even entertain the idea of getting rid of him even though he can’t stay fit. Shaw was and would be slated for being fit for his country but not able to play half our games.

Hopefully it’s not serious hit it’s a big problem that we have both him and De Ligt who are so injury prone when they should in theory be our first choice pairing.

Close! De Ligt has 56 games. Martinez has 110.

Maguire and Heaven will be our most frequently played centre backs next season.

I like both but it isn't good enough.

Should sign Lacroix. He's a really good player. And can play whole seasons of football without breaking into a thousand pieces.
