I would happily take us losing the next two and then winning the rest of the games this season. I find fascination with unbeaten runs strange. Winning runs I get. Do you really think Man City fans would trade their 100 point season for an invincible 90 point season?

Would be great to win the title on that day too but shame 100pt is out of reach (99pt max) if only to send Bluemoon into a rabid frenzy. But I got a bad feeling about the Boxing day game at Leicester. Lose that and we might only be 2pts ahead (albeit with a game in hand). We just can't shake them off

They have City away just before you at home.
Even the fixture list is conspiring against your rivals - it's certainly fallen together like a dream this year.

Yeah we also been playing later than Liverpool many weekends as well so chasing the points. Usually they very rarely play Saturday 3pm, this season it seems more for them. We seem to always be playing Sundays now :(, and also played after them on the Amazon games.

Now can we beat Man City and Liverpool? In our title season we beat Liverpool at home before beating Man City away. But I think if we dont beat Man City mentally it wont be in us to beat Liverpool.

We play them in January i think

Jesus- just looked that's a tough January for them. Play Spurs away, United at home (Jan 19th) then Wolves away....also have Everton and Sheffield United that month

United are the only team to have not given them a win in the run. Get in Ole

Why would 100 be out of reach? You will break it easily. I think you will get around 105.

It’s quite funny how all of the deluded United fans on here think that they are going to stop Liverpool, you have won 2 games on the bounce and all of a sudden you think that you are good enough to stop the red machine. It will be back to business as usual when you will struggle to overcome the likes of Everton and Newcastle, we had this for years raising our game against the big boys and playing s**t against the lesser teams. The only good thing about United winning the last 2 games is that it keeps Ole at the wheel and that you will miss out on Poch!
Who the feck are you ?

Mentioned this in another thread tonight so weird it gets it's own thread all of a sudden....

Anyway as I said elsewhere my mum who's a gooner is beside herself Liverpool are going to break their precious Invincible 49 unbeaten run. It's the only big thing Arsenal have to cling onto nowdays from their recent history and imo wasn't that great an achievement when you compare it to other title winners in recent times.

Still she thinks Liverpool will do it and they could actually get to 50 games and then lose a game in the run in so wouldn't go a full season unbeaten.

City being their 49th could be tasty if they get there. If they equal/break it though it would be far better than the invincibles team, didn't they have about 12 draws?

You could beat Pool at home if you're in top form, but City away would be hard to see. Although we just did it, so who knows!

Maybe City need to recognise the magnitude of the situation and go for the cups ;)

Any team can beat City at the moment if they play well. Their defence is a shambles without Laporte. Expect them to buy in Jan though.

Can you imagine Liverpool in this what seems like the perfect season, every team faltering, even City running out of steam, Liverpool destined to finally win the Premier League...to get beaten to it by Leicester managed by Brendan. :D

They will easily top 100 points and I would not be at all surprised to see them win every game from now until the end of the season. Depends on injuries really, but their injury record is very good.

There's no chance Liverpool will slip up again. Twice they've been in the advantage over recent years and squandered a clear points differential. The odds of them doing it a third time are remote. It's their title now.

Word curse.

They have not played that well. I think they will drop a lot more points during the second half. Still think they will win it though.

Bro, even the likes of Keita are playing relatively well. I think it's theirs to lose.

They already looked shaky in the beginning of the season when their first choice keeper was out. They can't be this lucky with injuries forever, and all it takes is some dodgy pasta, that's all I'm saying.

Of course they are massive favorites. Still don't think they will get 100 points. Away against Leicester, City and Spurs should be points dropped. Then I think we will get something too. Everton might get something. Teams like Palace, Wolves, Newcastle, Brighton Sheffield might also take something against them even if Liverpool are big favorites against them. Arsenal will be smashed though and the rest too.

It’s hard to argue against it when the reserves beat Everton 5-2. They just seem perfectly balanced. Still hoping we can beat them at Anfield though.

If we have Haaland by then, we will beat them.
