Proper sad to bump this after the fall from grace over the last 12 months. Finished with 5 more points than Moyes United and that was a genuinely terrible terrible team.

Not bad. After setting a record for losing at Anfield. For being under the gun all season with injuries that no other team had to deal with, Liverpool somehow against all odds finished 5 behind united. A united who everyone says has turned a corner and is almost back on top. I’ll take my chances next year to hopefully challenge City and united as best we can. See you in Europe.

Sad mate. Woe is me. Liverpool went into a season with 3CBs and want sympathy? United have had 2 CBs out for most of the season, with one needing to manage an injury half the season. Difference is we know you need a squad.

Also, the consensus on United is split between some thinking we're close and some thinking this is as good as it gets under Ole. But you can make stuff up to suit your narrative if you want.
