All pre emptive innit

Keep you lot and the biggest most reflex and mainly part time idiots apart. Prevent a row at source stops it escalating as well.
Handy as a general warning to the newer LFC scribes.
The older LFC lot seem fine to me, must be pretty mellow to have got this far.
I saw a new low reached today on twitter however. Allisson reckoned to be better than Peter Schmeichel.

It won't be SO bad, they said. Wrongly.
To be fair, read some of the posts on here when Klopp was appointed, someone said he is no better than AWB

Anyway even though I’m still a newbie, I’ve enjoyed my time on here and hopefully contributed to some good debates.

And restricting their posting capabilities to this thread will make the thread pretty much unreadable. Imagine coming on here to write a critique of their style of play and you encounter two hundred rabid, football discussion-starved Scousers enclosed to this confined space ready to jump on your posts?

It’ll be a catastrophe.

It is silly to ban and remove people before they have done something against the rules.
They have had the league secured for so long that I won't even bother much when the day comes.
Just avoid watching the celebrations and seeing Klopps smug face and then maybe take a break from here too.
This is true. Bizarrely will hurt less than if they had won it last game of the season, as have had time to reconcile with it. Would be nice if some luck would go against them though and they lost a couple of games..

As for banning them, honestly doesn't bother me either way, it's only words on the internet, some gloating is to be expected. Anything over the top from new members, just ban individuals.

Attention Liverpool fans - I absolutely love the pettiness. It's what being a real football fan is all about.

Turns out for most of the caf when the shoe is on the other foot they finally start to understand the situation.

Everyone from RAWK will now have a broad smile on their face.

It’s weird having loads of Liverpool fans on here anyway, I couldn’t imagine myself posting on a City or Liverpool forum.

Agree just sad it hurts those who have done nothing wrong. Actually see them winning is what hurt me. Also seeing my friends who support them.
Fans here I could just ignore and they have never bothered me before anyway over say the CL win. Although I avoided this place more then after the season too.

Because there are no good, free, ones. It's as simple as that. You can't put all this effort into running a great forum that's welcoming to fans of all clubs and then complain when fans of other clubs want to join. I myself lurked for years before finally joining. Back then, I didn't have much to say in defence of Liverpool because a lot of the criticism was right. I'd read the banter and go "yeah that's fair enough." But now when posters bring up bs like LiVARpool and the PL's secret plan to make us win, our supposedly once-in-a-bazillion-years luck or Klopp's super duper disrespect for all things British etc., I'm tempted to respond. I mean, is it too much ask your arch rival's fans to praise your team and manager repeatedly? What's this world come to?

Well for one I don’t put any effort into running a great forum that welcomes other fans. ;)
I don’t get why you’re tempted to respond, to me it’s a small club mentality.
It’s like you can’t enjoy being good unless we all praise you, I never felt that way when we were winning trophies and I certainly wouldn’t go onto let’s say RAWK to defend united, it’s all a bit precious to me.

Who cares what random people post on the internet in regards to football? It’s not a serious matter and the people are absolutely irrelevant. There’s no need for this precautionary ban. Deal with the people that need dealing with when the time comes.

I personally don’t give a flying f*** whether some Liverpool supporter wants to gloat.

It's also that we spend much more of our time online now than we ever did before (e.g. under your period of dominance). I was on LFC forums back then too (still am now - occassionally on RAWK but it's a real shit show at times as mentioned here, primarily on YAWN.tv which is a lot smaller), but we didn't have phones that we could always be online with (at least not till late 2000s, by which point your period of dominance was ending).

Now if you're only on one other forum (YAWN.tv), you run out of things very quickly when online all the time.

Plus it's nice to see other forums, that are big (as big/bigger than RAWK) that have a good mix of other fans as well - I haven't seen this on any other forum...you start getting into some real crazy stuff (BlueMoon etc). So in short, this is the best one there is with the size of forum, welcoming other fans etc.

Then you must be welcoming just by nature! :D All the more reason why we want to pop in and have our say. And I wouldn't go on RAWK to defend Liverpool either...

Well, it looks like you'll be spending less of your time on the internet soon.

Back to reality. Our next six matches are all winnable. I think mid match it’s all done. The clock is ticking

Mane’s made a habit of that push/shove/nudge just as the ball is approaching and he never gets pulled for it. It’s quite incredible.

In saying that, he receives that ‘pass’ (i.e. hopeful long punt) about eighteen times a match so he’s got plenty of practice at perfecting it at this stage, the longball bastards.

It’s odd isn’t it. Sadly a lot of people don’t seem to have much going on in their lives except their football team.

As a former defender myself this was a clear foul. The timing of the push was perfect as the defender was sorting him self in the air and lost his balance, fully stretched arm from Mane.
But the rest was pure quality from the long ball specialist.

Apparently Liverpool are 4th in the league for the number of long balls played. Who'd have thought that the supposed 'best team ever' is essentially a long ball team

This stat, in combination with their unconvincing performances, smash 'n grab victories and VAR, is why many feel this Liverpool side is the weakest to win a league title in decades.

Weakest? I can't even remember any of Fergie's teams wrap up the title by January. This might be the most dominant league win.

Whilst this is some very juicy bait, I don't think it's subtle enough to get any nibbles. I'm genuinley rooting for you though.

If Liverpool had lost 8 games this season they would still be top.
That's how weak this league is.

I both welcome and appreciate your support.

But still, this Liverpool side isn't quite as great as the league table would suggest. VAR has helped you no end, your key players are immune to injury, you play boring long-ball football, you scrape through games, oppo keepers/players shit the bed on a near-endless basis, and Klopp got his teeth both straightened and whitened. All of this adds up to a shockingly average Liverpool side.

In my opinion anyway.
