No Gomes in the squad.
We need to get rid of Sbragia asap.

This is the best I've seen the 23's play in a long time, especially against 2nd in the league.

Also good to see Gribbin out there playing well, his passing ability is elite.

Liverpool score from a direct free kick which our keep should've done better on...

Full time 2-1 to United, fantastic performance all round against a title chasing Liverpool on their own patch.

Fighting chance to stay up. Remaining fixtures Swansea and Man City away, then Everton at home.

Gribbin and Riley were very good. Really hope Gribbin can push on now, he's very very talented and I definitely think there could be a place for him in the first team if he has the desire and the discipline. He's been desperately missed in this team. The u23s should have done much better this season and I would blame Sbragia, his team selections and injuries to key players

Change of manager seems to be required - followed by some clarity as to who is leaving, going on loan, or moving up to 1st team. I'd like to see a bit more fluidity between fringe of 1st team squad and 23s - to my mind, TFM and Axel should be playing 30 games each between the two teams next season - and training for 1st team should not preclude them from stepping down for game time.

Lets sensibly promote the best of the 18s and build a strong unit who are a couple of years off loans or promotion - we've seen it work well at city and Chelsea and I think it's the way forward, albeit with an eye on senior appearances ultimately.

Probably best the 23s have played all season, they couldn't do it again could they ?
Could really have done without Spurs winning 1-3 @ Arsenal yesterday, Arsenal had taken the lead

09) Derby County 18-6-3-9-28-34-21
10) Tottenham H 19-5-5-9-32-40-20
----------------------------------------------
11) Sunderland 18-4-4-10-13-32-16
12) Man Utd 18-3-6-9-15-35-15

True - but if United pick up 10 Points from their last 4 games, they should probably make it. Spurs and Derby play each other, and both also have some fairly tough games remaning. Our problem is that away game to City, they will probably give Everything to send us down.
