When Loki finds kid Loki’s lair. Kid Loki says he killed Thor, and then we see the camera pan from ground level to below ground level. Buried under about ten feet is Thor in a bottle.

Idk how to do the spoiler feature but there’s something even cooler about it. Check it out!
You type [ spoiler] in front of the spoiler and [ /spoiler] after it, but with the space after the [

I like this better than WV and F and WS.
Wanda still my clear favourite. I'll wait until last ep of Loki before deciding if i like it more than Falcon. The first three eps i found a bit plodding, especially three, but they nailed eps four and five.

Nah, the kid was shite. Sylvie is lacking in charisma, but not anywhere near as bad as the female protagonist from Falcon & Winter Soldier. Would have watched a whole series of Richard E. Loki though.
The kid really wasn't great. Not sure what the plan is for young avengers but really hope he doesn't end up involved.

In the very first episode when Mobius asks him why he wants to rule Loki says he would make it easier for people as for nearly living thing choice brings uncertainty and regret, constantly taking the wrong path, at which point Mobius asks if that rule applies to him as well, a question Loki doesn't answer. I think that insight into his purpose is compatible with him being the big bad behind the TVA, pruning the "wrong" paths other versions of him took, leaving him essentially running the universe from behind the scenes. Particularly if (as the initial "send a Loki to catch a Loki" plot suggests), the arch-Loki thinks any Lokis left alive may ultimately be a threat.

Plus the lies and deception behind the concept of the TVA is entirely in keeping with how Loki operates.

On a meta level the concept of the show is built around different versions of Loki existing and thematically it's about him confronting himself and making a choice to change for the good. On both those levels it makes sense for his ultimate enemy to be himself, specifically the ultimate version of the himself he doesn't want to be anymore.

Whereas just introducing and taking time to explain a random bad guy from the comics who huge swathes of the audience won't know would be a deeply unsatisfying ending, as rather than having anything to do with what the show has been about it would instead just be a set-up for further content.
Fair explanation!
As long as the final reveal is solid & not another simple/comedic reveal (which I didn’t mind for WandaVision) then I’ll be ok with it. The show has been enjoyable so far so hopefully the ending is equally good. Your suggestion actually makes sense when you tie it back to how Loki operates, the purpose of how Loki’s making choices in the show & why he would be pruning the other Loki’s, so I would accept that explanation if that’s the case.

However, the number of Easter Eggs pointing to Kang still makes me suggest they’ll tie it to him & he’s involved. Similar to how we first saw Thanos in MCU in Avengers’ post-credit scene revealing him to be the ultimate big bad, I think that’s a possibility for how they reveal Kang here & expand on him in the movies.

Why not both? They could make evil Loki the big bad in this one, but in overcoming that introduce a teaser for Kang. Similar to when Thanos was first teased.

Yeah, quite possible! Personally I think they’ve hinted at Kang too much for there not to be a link/tease of some sort to him in the finale.

I think my problem with these shows is that they initially start as something different from the marvel we've already seen but by the end.. it's the same marvel stuff we've already seen, and this episode was basically that. So many cliches we've already seen before. The music is great, though.

Yeah, I'd agree with that. They tease us with original concepts and ideas only to go back to the same ending again and again.

The promo for the last episode is out. It's Kang, fellas. He's apparently interested in eliminating Loki from all timelines.
You mean this?

Pretty sure that's fake, as the comments on it are pointing out. Aside from anything else, giving away the villain reveal in a promo would be less than ingenious.

Suspect that will be more of a problem in the final episode, which I fear will resort to the usual CGI-laden good vs evil punch up to decide things.

I thought the last episode already was that. Then you had the awkward romance, the weird Loki Mobius hug, Richard E Grant's character doing some weird hand shit to save the day, just stuff we've seen before so many times. It's amazing how something as visually spectacular as the last 20 minutes were so.. dull, really.

It has been overall a bang average show for me bar episode 4 which was great, but I don't know, maybe it's my problem. During the first 2 episodes I saw comments on the Marvel subreddit claiming these first 2 episodes were the best ever content Marvel has produced. Either Reddit fans are easily pleased or I didn't get what was great about this show.

What the feck is young Avengers now?
Team of teen/young adult avengers most of which have been introduced in the movies and the tv shows so far already.

Ant Man's daughter Cassie(Stature), Wanda's kids Billy(Wiccan) Tommy(Speed), Elijah Bradley (Patriot we saw him in F&WS), Kate Bishop(Hawkeye will be in the Disney+ show) Young Loki was involved with them, America Chavez is supposed to be cast in Doctor Strange 2. So just missing Hulkling really, could see him appearing in Secret wars or The Marvels something with Kree/Skrullls to explain him.

There's a comic called Young Avengers and the rumours are it's a long term plan for the MCU. Bunch of kids similar to the originals. We know a lot of them are popping up in these shows. Wandas kids, Patriot, the nephew in Falcon, hawkeye in the upcoming hawkeye show etc. A young loki makes sense but the actor wasn't great.

Well the reveal was good, but after that it was very underwhelming I thought. Also the Ending was quite good, but genuinely thought it was quite rushed

Really good finale. The explanation about the TVA/sacred timeline was very well done & easy to follow. Finally, they can unleash the chaos

Really it enjoyed. Reveal was well done, actor did a great job I thought.

Miss Minutes is very unsettling, she scared the shit out of me at the start when popped out of nowhere.

Big old pile of meh. A natural conclusion to the Loki-confronting-himself ideas the series has played with up to now would have been far more satisfying than having a new character be behind everything just to seemingly set up a new villain and plot for future series/films. I could practically hear the plot gears grinding to reposition the franchise for more content, where a satisfying conclusion to this story is what I wanted. And on top of that the actor so much of this episode rested on gave such an irritatingly mannered performance.

At least it didn't end with a cgi-laden punch-up I suppose.

When Jonathan Majors appeared I was a bit underwhelmed. A bit goofy and just time jumping out of the way of attacks seemed a pretty poor "Big bad" compared to Thanos. So its good to know he's just a variant and that the proper Kang is still to be revealed.

Underwhelming I thought. Still, sets up the ensuing chaos in the multiverse nicely and I am looking forward to seeing where they go with season 2.

I’m still dumbfounded that they set up Sylvie with a plan that looked awesome. Then just…. Ignored it. I thought it might actually get acknowledged. At least a line to explain why it failed.

I thought that was a great finish, really enjoyed it. It was always going to set up the rest of this arch somehow for me, and they did it in a clever way which explains everything. I much prefer that to the evil Loki route, a Kang variant makes more sense. Only thing i thought they'd do is give a glimpse of the true Kang, but maybe it's too early. I know there was the statue at the end, but that wasn't the classic look. Again that doesn't mean much either i guess.

My favourite Marvel villain! FINALLLLY!

I loved every minute of this show and was easily my favourite of the 3 plus shows so far, ensures the chaos that is to follow.

With how the MCU is shaping up, do we think Kang will ultimately be the main villain going forward like Thanks or will we see a separation now, like one villain for the Earthbound hero's then another story/ saga for the more expansive heroes, like GotG, Captain Marvel ect?

They are going to have so much to sort through going forward now, but ultimately I'm excited for it and how they use this latest 'Nexus Event' going forward. The Spiderman trailer can't come quick enough now. :D

I assumed it would be Kang as the big bad of the multiverse era/saga or whatever it will be known as. I don't think Feige will want to have a decade long arc this time round and perhaps well see Kang be the main villain for 5 years or something like that. Then Dr Doom will be the main guy for another 5 years and then probably its time to bring in an Xmen bad guy like Apocalypse or something like that?

I definatley like this idea, I think Thanos really worked because the foundation of the MCU was still being built but gave people the excitement that a Big Bad was on his way. Also don't think people will have the same attention span to a long drawn out saga again. My only concern is the amount of heroes they are establishing for the future and what role they and the old guard will have going forward considering Avengers won't be our only team and I think after Black Widow and Falcon series it's clear we are setting up a villain/ anti- hero Avengers group.

I’m so glad they didn’t feck around with the reveal.
it was hinted far too much & the explanation of the events, why the TVA was created & the consequence of killing him were easy to follow. It made sense to me it was Kang behind the events, it fits in with his character & sets up the big bad for Phase 4.

Cannot wait for the upcoming movies & what impact this has on MCU - it’s just going to get super crazy. I think the What If series may also tie into what’s just happened. Thinking back to the WandaVision post-credit scene & speculating on Dr Strange 2…when Wanda hears the kids voices, that’s probably the moment when the events in Loki opened up the multiverse. I think her being a nexus being means she can travel across the multiverse & get to her kids (also she’s using the Darkhold to understand her true powers) with Strange then trying to stop her in the film & ultimately work with her to close the multiverse.

I quite liked this. At least it didn't completely fecked up the ending like WandaVision and I'm certainly hooked both for the second season & the next movie.

The new cast was also very good.

Well the ending makes sense. It completely fits the story they set up in this series and they didn't deviate too far really from the basics of Kang for comics fans (variant at least)

Overall I personally didn't enjoy this as much as both Wandavision and Falcon and Winter Soldier. This is the only one with a confirmed season 2 though. So we have to take into account that they will be exploring all of this more both in movies and season 2 Loki.

Although Kang made sense I was surprised the first introduction would be the TV show. But, Marvel managed the "risk" of people maybe not liking this guy. By making it a variant. Its actually pretty smart. Kang in Quantumania can then be the typical Masked Kang baddie more menacing and manipulative etc. than this guy who was a bit more manic.

They kinda erased stakes of characters dying/surviving. Kill someone and he'll return as variants.

Bad variant spawning could also spawn amount of heroes to stop him. It's a nice Möbius strip.

T'was a decent watch.

Am I missing something with this series? Last 2 episodes were decent but over all im disappointed. This of the three series was the one I was looking forward to but it was nothing great.

I'm fairly sure after re watching it, that this "Kang" is supposed to be Immortus, the future version of Kang, which is such a good way to introduce him as he fits the TVA storyline so well, whilst also giving you the danger of what is to come. Johnathan Majors was amazing.

I think it's because this isn't necessarily the end of the story, either from Loki's point of view or the wider scope of what was revealed. Hence Sylvie not trust Loki still and what is happening in the TVA now.
