Never stopped running and was probably our best player. I do think Telles' attacking on the whole is better but you'd be hard pressed to find a left back who is non stop like Shaw.

If you see united corner setup, Shaw or AWB defend on which side is corner waits on top of the box on their side. In this case he was deep in their box that to on right side.

His crossing has been good ever since we signed Telles, from that PSG game to now. He’s probably watching what type of training Telles does to practice his crossing

Evra did the same thing with Heinze. Heinze was good in the air, Evra came in and was weaker in the air. Not long after Evra suddenly is leaping like a salamander high into the air and winning the ball. He took his rival's biggest strength and made it one of his own, so then why would the other guy play? He didnt.

He should be tried as CB and see if that helps in his fitness. He does a lot of high intensity runs and may be that's an issue .
