That's not evidence. That's more in the category of an unfortunate confluence of bad luck and coincidence.

Also I'm pretty sure there have been loads of runs of bad form where Luke Shaw has been in the team.

He's just riddled with injuries given his leg that looks like it's stuck together with bluetack.

I'm just fascinated by people who blame injured players because football hasn't made them happy lately. Its so obvious that some fans are projecting their frustrations of how United have played this year onto players who largely weren't even involved in our results.

That one pass/cross in to Rasmus, if only he wasn’t a glass hammer because he’s clearly very talented and would be a standout playing LCB for us. I imagine he’ll still be here next season. 150k a week is pretty manageable, it’s just that he is never fit, but that really doesn’t seem like that excessive of a wage.

Battered was maybe a bit strong, they certainly targeted him physically which is which is what I meant really

Battered would be more accurate than not given how he was laid out on the pitch after getting hit hard by an oppo player.

My evidence is that he's literally been out for an entire year, but when it was convenient for him, going with England to the Euro's, he was fit, and then coming back to a struggling team, still under Ten Hag, then he was back to being injured. It's so obvious it's almost hard to see, but sometimes the obvious is obvious for a reason. Footballers are just people, some are dedicated, some aren't, Shaw clearly isn't dedicated. I don't doubt he is actually injured at times, I just think he leans into his injuries instead of powering through them, because it's an easier path. Have you honestly never worked with one of these people in your real life?
Absolutely spot on

Man Utd 5:4 Olympique Lyonnais New
We shouldn't have brought him in such a crucial game

Really bad performance. Got his blushes spared in the end like a couple of others

Intensity was way too high for him. Needs PT before being thrown into that kind of environment. Was well off the pace.

Pleased he threw Cherki off the field. They were taking the piss with their time-wasting antics in both legs

Miles off the pace but to be expected. Both him and Mount are nowhere near level they should be, having to rely on them is far from ideal.

He was clearly unfit.. what was Amorim thinking bringing him on?

It was the biggest game of our season surely you just give him minutes vs Wolves not tonight!

Will get the usual 'wait until he’s fit' brigade but the reality is, he never will be. Get rid as soon as we can.

He had to make a change at half time and wanted to bring Lindelof on but wasn’t able to.

He’s unfit. Plays a fee games, gets into shape, gets injured. Comes back unfit, plays himself into shape, injured again. He’s just not good enough as a result.

You come back from an injury, and you should be the fittest feckin player in the team. You had nothing but time to work on your fitness. No excuse.

Ruben has just said that Victor Lindelof was called away on a personal matter so he only had Shaw to bring on.

Agreed he was a massive fatty

Aassuming Maz picked up a knock hhe alternative was Lindelof
Lindelof is still a football player
I'm pretty sure that Amorim just said that "Vic had to go/leave mid game for personal reasons". I wasn't paying full attention but I think that's what he said (hopefully everything is okay, not sure if you leave a game like that if it's good news).

That in itself is strange. What on earth can happen mid way to a season decider for a player to just leave

That makes more sense. Thanks

Both are shit. Lindelof just demonstrated how terrible he can be against Newcastle. Both need to be fecked off.

Lindelof is certainly going, but Shaw will.be an issue.
I am not defending lindelof here. All I am saying is that he's still a football player who can play week in week out football at a reasonable level. I can't say the same about shaw
