If Mourinho had is way we'd have a back 4 consisting of Danny Rose, Toby Alderweild, Eric Dier and Ivan Perisic playing left back.

Sky sports gave Shaw a rating of 6 yesterday ... interesting.

With Matic in midfield and Willian as winger.

Imagine if we kept Jose for one more season, he probably would have sold Shaw and we would be watching him flourish for a rival.

Schmeichel
Young Alderweireld Dier Rose
Matic Fellaini
Willian Sanchez Perisic
Lukaku

All the way to the 6th place trophy along with Arsenal.

Not sure if anyone tuned into Talk sport before the game yesterday, Jose was giving his pre game analysis and mentioned how Kimmich is going to dominate Shaw, push him all the way back.

Instead, it was Shaw's side where the threat from England was coming from and none from Kimmich.

Monster performance from Luke last night. Best LB in the PL last season, possibly the world. Love seeing him thrive breaking out from wormtongue's spell and realising he has nothing to fear. Warms the heart it does.

Can we get the GrumpyOne to chat shit about Shaw every couple of weeks?

Shouldn't take set pieces apparantly  could have had 2 assists on that already this game.

Edit: world class

For me, he is not a guy to take set pieces or be in the box to win a duel in the air. He is very fast and a perfect position is to stay back on corners to cope with transitions. But maybe Gareth needed a left foot or he did something very good in training that we didn’t see in the game.

Can we talk about mentality again, since the interview, he had 3 assists in 2 games (1.5 games).

Jose’s a sad old self-parody now. Shit like this just adds to his demise

The good thing is by all accounts from Shaw himself and the club briefings/media mouth pieces, is that he was never likely going to be sold. Same with Martial. The club had their back.

This is where he is now, pretty much everything he says or does ends in failure. One could say, a specialist in failure.

He's shown elite mentality a lot here. Mainly, after that horror injury that would make me too scared to ever go into a tackle again, to come back. Then keeping professional whilst José was sabotaging his career here. He's great!

Yeah but somehow he is called mentally weak, thin skinned and other silly names. It's weird.

Mourinho's fans are the weirdest bunch.
