It has a lot of potential and seems to be a nice balance. Maguire being the vocal leader but still yet to enter his prime and Lindelof with a few years premier league experience behind him being cool on the ball. Both are good with the ball at their feet and whilst Lindelof isn't dominant in the air he has a number of qualities that figure to compliment Magure well. The difference a respected leader at the back makes is incredible. Night and day from having Bailly, Jones, Rojo, Smalling there.
With De Gea seemingly set to sign long term and poised for captaincy I think that's a good spine and with AWB on board and (hopefully) Shaw staying fit and reliable we've potentially set our defense up for a while to come especially with Tuanzebe waiting in the wings and possibly Dalot to be able to cover both full-back positions or be useful in a 5-3-2 if we go that route at some point.
Hopefully we can see that sort of significant overhaul with our midfield in the summer.
