Just seen the youtbe links:

my observations about diouf:-

great header of the ball (great in the air - better than saha)
natural finisher (nice to have one of those)
strong
Not blessed with blistering pace
excellent compuser
excellent finisher

at the moment not sure if he'll make it in the PL, but SAF has seen him in training with our players, so...

What I'd say is that he seems to be more similar to RvN than Saha

 I can't imagine what would happen if he does a Macheda on his debut.
We, the true believers, will be proven right and we will celebrate his greatness. The Caf will grind to a halt and everyone will be unable to post because of the jizz on everyone's computers/keyboards.

The One could debut against Brummies today

"We are looking to involve Diouf at Birmingham," said Ferguson.

"It is a good time to do it and he may just do well straight away."

Ferguson had certainly been impressed with Diouf prior to the bad weather which has wrecked preparations for the trip to Birmingham.

In handing Diouf Carlos Tevez's old number 32 shirt, Ferguson has presented his newest recruit with a bit of history to live up to.

But the Scot is adamant Diouf has the ability required to live up to any expectation.

"In training he has done very well," he said.

"He is quick and has magnificent spring in the air for someone of 5ft 10in.

"He has a good intelligence and a good feel for the game.

"He has attributes that are suited to us. He is a bit different to what we have at the moment and we have done well to get the kid."

I'm surprised Norwegian papers haven't picked up this thread. It should be right up their alley. Only yesterday they had a big story about Swedish internet trolls calling a Norwegian skier cocky.
Indeed. I'm just waiting for Sigbkjørn Strand at Dagbladet to pick up on it.

Diouf is rather crap at finishing though. He is very good at getting himself into scoring-positions, but he misses A LOT of chances. Of course, this is due to him not wanting to make his teammates jealous of his god-like powers.

I love this one  Praise Douif

The start of my belief. Anyone who has a one man, open top parade, to an empty street, just for the fact he's signed for United deserves, our adoration.

Don't forget we have one of the best finishers in the modern game to help with squad development. Never forget just how Good Michael Owens finishing is :nono: young Diouf can learn alot.

Would we see you alive tomorrow if Diouf does indeed make the much awaited coming today?

Considering your old age and all, i think i should say my goodbyes. :(

It is not possible for the perfect to be even more perfect. We'll win by 5 goals or more if he steps on to the pitch, even if thats only for warm up.

Malaysia.
Would he take it easy on his debut and only score two instead of four?

So Micheal Owen is the modern version of John the Baptist?

My predictions was that he wasn't going to get his first app for Manchester United until next August. Then I hear he's probably going to get involved today. Surprised? Yes.

But I reckon he's going to do quite well.
