With 2 more signings, they'll be thick again with top class squad depth quality. Plenty of times to wrap up 2 signings.

------------------------------Ederson/Ortega-----------------------------

Cancelo/Walker------Diaz/Stones-------Ake/Laporte----Cucurella/Cancelo/Ake

-------------------------Rodri/Phillips---------------------------
----------------De Bruyne/Gundogan------Silva/Foden---------

Foden/Marhez----------------Haaland/Alvarez-------------Foden/New LW
100m signing Grealish is there, and Foden usually plays LW.

I reckon they will need a backup versatile attacker to cover the wings

I couldn’t be sure. Especially when they can’t fill their stadium each week and have to give tickets away on the radio.
I don't think the people who made it even intended for it to look real.

The plus side of having a squad like there’s is the fact they can sell them on for good money once they need to freshen up. Jesus and zinchenko £75mil after winning a good few trophies and some good years is great business. They might spend but they do sell so it’s good business all round from them.

I wouldn't say they're too light. They've got a top squad with basically 2 players for every position pretty much. 5 attackers for 3 attacking positions is good (versatile depth) and 7 defenders.
Ederson
Walker Dias Laporte Cancelo
Rodri
Kdb Bernardo
Mahrez Haaland Foden

Steffen
*** Stones Ake Cucurella
Phillips
Palmer Gundogan
*** Alvarez Grealish
When you go full rotation then theyll have to bring some youth through, but honestly I would rather have a situation like this than what we've got with way too much depth.

City so far:

Outs
Torres = 46m (Jan 2022).
Porro - 7m
Lavia - 10m
Bazunu - 15m
Jesus - 45
Sterling - 47m
Ake - 41m

Total: 211m

Ins

Haaland - 50m*
Philips - 45m

Total: 95m

211m from sales is excellent business by City, the can also spend and get someone like Cucurella for 50m or more if they have to.

* They paid a lot in agent fees and signing on fees in Haaland's transfer, but their sales covers for it so far.
They also bought Alvarez for 15m back in Jan, who is an absolute steal IMO.

Assuming Zinchenko is sold and Ake/Silva are priced out of a move.
Ideally need a First choice LB, Backup CM & Backup RW.

They skirted rules, inflated profits and paid staff in “alternate” means to get to the position where they can sell players they illegally accumulated for good money.

No point praising them for good business now when we know how they got there.

Yeah, and I think they are gonna buy Cucurella, but I expect Brighton will ask for more than 50M, but still, their sales are incredible (if we include Zenchenko, Ake is staying, so it remains close 200M in sales)

It's sports washing 101. And people lap it up because the collective global IQ is at a dramatic decline. :(

Well said. In the anti money laundering world it's known as placement, layering and integration.

On a side note. How in the name of holy feck have they got 41m for Ake? Lindelof in that case is worth 50 and Bailey 20 and AWB 25. Can we sell all three now and use the funds to buy a striker and right back?

It is embarrassing.
Top stolen from Milan pretending it is theirs, celebration stolen from Poznan pretending it is theirs, Manchester stolen from United pretending it is theirs. And so on.

Next one?

You think Pep is coming back to Munich?

To get a little more serious: Pep fought for Kimmich's signing, pushed him a lot and gave him a lot of responsibility at a young age and let him play many positions. He is an immense supporter and the two of them have a huge respect for each other.
