Man United's record when winning at half time at Old Trafford - 364 Wins, 35 Draws, 0 Defeats

Just happened to Chelsea for the second time this season. Yet we’re on a 41 year run. Bizarre record.

Limiting the amount of times you lead at half time helps!

True but even still, the way he's operated you'd have think he would have set out to end this record on purpose! (I mean he gave it his best shot against Newcastle...)

Honestly, I could see it happening if we don't wake up in the second half. Fulham are no mugs.

3-2 vs Fulham, 1st February 2026 (361 wins)
Luckily we didn't. :)

Just updated the title. Since Bournemouth:
  • We beat Newcastle 1-0 (after Dorgu's 24th minute leading goal)
  • We beat Fulham 2-0 (after Casemiro's 19th minute leading goal)

I always worry about this record. Definitely wouldn’t want to be the manager in charge when we lose it.

2-1 vs Brentford, 27th April 2026 (363 wins) New
And now it's 363!!

Can tell the Amorim era is over. Didn't even think about this once.

I almost want us to lose this record so it's off our backs

Hopefully to a worthy team who aren't Liverpool, Arsenal or City.

At 2-2 thought it would surely happen but thankfully we improved from there.

I guess it's bit of annoying record because it's always in the back of our heads. At some point it'll be over and you'd hope that happens against 'lesser' side.

It’s a freaky record that we shouldn’t put too much stock into, but thank fecking christ it wasn’t Liverpool and that injury hit team they put out.

Especially as they have a 2nd longest run (behind us obviously) without defeats after leading at HT home. Not sure when was the last time they lost a game in that kind of situation but it was in PL era. They also never lost home game in PL when 2-0 up at home which could've happened to us today and against them.

I don't really care about this record, in a lot of ways I'd like it to go if only so that this f**king thread would stop getting bumped every time we concede an equaliser in the 2nd half of games in OT.

But I'm glad it wasn't those rats who took it, please let it be Coventry City or someone!

It would've been an absolute travesty to lose this to Liverpool of all teams, thought the worst might happen after their equalizer. Thank feck for Kobbie stepping up to the plate.

I do somewhat second what others are saying though, part of me wants to be done with this nonsense.
