Was an excellent all round performance. Jack Fletcher was my MotM until he game off, controlled the game, some excellent passing and through balls. Kamason is an absolute beast, needs to be playing proper men's football. Same for Amass
Class, thanks mate. I saw JJ scored and set up at least two. Was it flashes from him or does he look like he’s able for the physicality of the older age group?
Agree that those two need loans asap, and I think the fletchers too.
It seems like a lot of our players are too good for Under 21's but not good enough for top level football, but we have to keep them around to stick a team out, personally think 21's should be made into 19's and 18's into 17's, the older boys need to be out on loan or be sold on.
I thought it was flashes tonight and the step up in physicality showed a bit. He got a bit bashed around.
Won't be too long though before he adapts.
Guessing Habeeb and Scanlon both basically gone and Obi going out on loan

JJ was great. He was physically out matched, which is obvious (Ipswich had a couple of giants playing for them in central defence and midfield, they were 6ft 5+ easily) but he was still very effective. He still managed to beat people with his speed of thought, quick touches and agility. His movement off the ball was excellent, running in behind for his goal and assists, and also dropping into pockets of space and getting on the ball, he created some very good chances.
The finish for his goal, if you haven't seen it already was outrageous. Scoop/lobbed it over the keeper when running in one on one - genuinely think only Bruno in our first team could do that with any level of consistency.
From this description it sounds like he was playing as a 10, and not as a winger? Thanks!

Shades of Karol Poborski's goal in the 1996 Euros which prompted us to sign him up.
I love how the replay shows the ref standing right there with a clear view of the defender's blatant elbow to the temple. And not even a foul given haha
Some quick thoughts,
Kamason was the best player on the pitch for me. The first time finish for his goal was class as was the build up to it too. Amass did well tucked into midfield and is at his best when he is involved often.
The Fletchers’ did well and I can see Jack dropping back further as he gets older. Gives him a bit more time on the ball and allows him to use his long pass more. Tyler is definitely rounding out his game more too.
I liked the interchanging between JJ and Ibragimov up front. Neither are the biggest but used their intelligence and movement to link up well. Think they could develop Mainoo and Gore chemistry.
Also thought Thompson was lively and did everything but score. Once he settles in can see him doing well.
