Former United academy lad, came on against the first team in the FA Cup and barely got a kick and was subbed back off.Remind me please! My memory fails me on this

But didn’t they have injury after injury in that game? He played nearly the whole game and for a youngster that’s not that bad. It was Rice who gave the ball away before McT scoredGot brought on in the 18th minute or so and got taken off before FT in the FA cup game, I believe. Used to play for us actually.
Yeah, that's pretty much what happened. Probably got more game time than he expected really. But didn’t they have injury after injury in that game? He played nearly the whole game and for a youngster that’s not that bad. It was Rice who gave the ball away before McT scored
True, but as a substitute who was substituted he looked broken because its a humiliating thing to happen, even if logically he played more of the game than he would have normally.Yeah, that's pretty much what happened. Probably got more game time than he expected really
Well that makes a change from ‘ cocks out’ that I see all the time in the main threadWood out
This is correct, Hannibal is playing as the deep lying midfielder.Interestingly, with McCann's arrival, Hannibal has been playing as the deepest midfielder. He hasn't done so badly, but him being so deep means that we aren't seeing much of him in the final third, now.
Again I do think they’re being tried in a variety of positions. Something the Ajax academy does all the time I believeThis is correct, Hannibal is playing as the deep lying midfielder.

Yeah, and I don't mind seeing it, honestly. Hannibal needs more minutes in deeper areas in order to become more accustomed to a deeper role. Devine at CB is also interesting despite his lack of height as he's developing more of his defensive nous.Again I do think they’re being tried in a variety of positions. Something the Ajax academy does all the time I believe
Ajax don't define a position for players until they get to 15, they train/play various until then. We've often done it, I remember little Larnell Cole playing right back quite a bit one season.Again I do think they’re being tried in a variety of positions. Something the Ajax academy does all the time I believe
For a Goalkeeper with League 1 experience his positioning seems really weird. What is Bishop doing
It has been said, good experience for a bunch of 18 year olds. They’ll be disappointed but all good experience and good to see Elanga bang one inWill Fish has been so poor in this game I find it hard to believe
Both Fish and Bishop have been so poor in dealing with West Ham's attacks. Fish mainly because of how slow and sluggish he's been in dealing with 1-on-1 situations and Bishop because of his terrible positioning as well as his lack of athleticism. Two of the goals should never have been conceded. Bishop seems to have got his positioning wrong.
Agreed. Both Fish and Bishop have been so poor in dealing with West Ham's attacks. Fish mainly because of how slow and sluggish he's been in dealing with 1-on-1 situations and Bishop because of his terrible positioning as well as his lack of athleticism.
At least he’s IrishSomehow, West Ham get a win out of this. Odubeko gets his hat-trick and scores another fine goal from the left side of the box. Once again, he gets to Will Fish's other side with relative ease, and his shot caught Nathan Bishop way off guard.
