Hannibal's first involvement was to mess up a 1 on 1. Looked like he couldn't get the ball under control.

That young lad Lingard looks promising. Reckon he'll get his breakthrough season?

Seeing Andreas in a United shirt again is a weird flashback to the pre-Bruno era

Sink or swim time for some of these players. Fish seems to belong at this level.

Matic and Lingard have made the biggest differences here from the first half. Pellistri on the right as well giving an outlet.

I would rather sell James than Lingard. If West Ham are’t willing to place a decent bid, he might be more valuable to us. The main problem is that he needs regular game time to perform, and if he stays it will be as a squad player

Galbraith sometimes forgets that he is playing as a right back in this match, but he is doing well... except this moment. Fortunately, it was followed by a bad cross.

Pretty fun game to watch. Matic was men against boys there today. Lingard class above. Pellistri should be aiming to get a PL or a championship loan. He’s already good enough to provide something for us but we won’t have enough minutes for him

That was a fun, solid pre-season match. Some good performances by Heaton, Jesse, Matic, Fish and Pellistri in particular.

Very good workout for the players. 1st game back was always going to be tough fitness wise but they don’t really well.

A lot of very good performances but Pellistri was the standout. Definitely one I’m keen to see in the next game against QPR.

Overall a very good workout.

Interesting mainly for the youth players. Pretty pedestrian stuff from us, but certain individuals will be very happy with that one. Fish and Pellestri are the standouts for me, Hannibal tried hard but looked slightly off it (but there's something there for sure). Derby were highly motivated and it was nice to see Rooney on the sideline, wish them the absolute best.

Cant read nothing into that one way or the other. First match, very hot weather and another Utd away win. Pelestri stood out as did Lingard, if you want to say anything, thats about all you can say.

Good to get the minutes under our belt, the performance wasn’t bad either. Good cameos by Levitt, Shoretire and Pellistri, but also happy with the older heads in Heaton, Matic and Lingard.

Nice run out for the lads. First half wasnt as good as the second one, Matic and Lingard really took over and controlled the game. Tuanezebe looked pretty solid, Galbraith isnt a RB, Andreas needs to be sold asap. Got a soft spot for small tricky wingers, so got to give MotM to Pellistri, really really liked what i saw from him. A loan to PL or championship could do wonders for him. Fish is another one to keep an eye onto as are the obvious candidates Hannibal and Elanga.
Nice little win, keep working lads
