Manchester United view sidelining Marcus Rashford as key to cultural reboot

Clearly, I think you've all just been worn down by the depression of supporting United lately. Understandable.

If it makes you feel any better, I don't love Sancho.
You are absolutely right. I felt depressed when we lost the Europa league final to an average Spurs side especially after staying up until 2.20 am to watch it. But as Amorim said, the good days are coming back :D

For the record, I dont hate either Rashford or Sancho.

Surely there would be a Saudi club of some description that would welcome him with open arms and a nice pay check ?
The player has to want to make the move you know. Nothing about Sancho or Rashford gives that they want to do that.

Surely we can just sack both Rashford and Sancho on the grounds of capability and conduct. I know that I would have had HR showing me the door had I been as lazy and ineffective as those two when I was working.

I see his team has gone back to spam posting his gym videos on socials

What I don’t understand is who is this content actually targeted at?

It’s not like he’s Cristiano who has a ton of rabid fanboys following his every move, and the people who might be supportive of Rashford don’t really care about such content.

It just seems like his team continue to be extremely out of touch, but what do I know I’m just a middle aged bore - maybe it’s me who’s out of touch.

It’s just to keep him relevant. SM comments and likes are just cash generators for him. It will be feck all about him being motivated but driven by greed. Standard team Rashford.

You're overthinking this. Lots of players do this.

Hell, I do it.

Not everything needs to be twisted into this weird agenda

Looks like he’s in Puerto Banus, I think I’ve been in that gym. Actually a pretty cool setup, just full of influencers

I'm not entirely sure about UK workers' rights, but I don't think capability or effectiveness is a solid HR reason to fire anyone if not for some justifiable restructure type of deal. Refusal to work or conduct could be, if proven, as I assume those rights cannot just be bypassed through some he said-she said or gossip train. Sancho was frozen out before, so even his case might not be easy. Rashford was frozen out, so if there'd be a contractual obligations dispute there, Rashford would probably be in favor.

You're allowed to be bad at your job in most countries. Some people abuse such a right, but it's a very important right to protect people's basic necessities in a capitalist society.

Yes, it wouldn't be easy, that's for sure, as football operates In its own bubble. By the way, I was a trade union shop steward, before moving into management, so I fully understand both sides of an employment dispute and I fully agree with the protection of workers rights. But not those who take the piss, as they have done.
