Any 3 goal margin win and we lift the first of five trophies this season.

Baresi, what a player. Only saw him when he was really old and at the end of his career and he was still great then. Anybody who remembers the Milan sides when Serie A was on channel four must feel a little sad at how poor they have been for years now, really did have some superb sides in those days. The side Liverpool beat to win champions league was actually a very good side, but not a patch on those days.

Much like the Liverpool sides of the 80s, Milan should be a warning to us of how if you let things slip and dont sign the right players, things can drift quickly, we are only a couple of years from going a similar way I fear.

Great club with a great historic stadium, like to see them do well, always liked them much more than Juventus

It's so unfair that Atletico got to play shit opposition to boost their goal difference for the tourney.

Would be delighted if we tried to go out and win this tournament. 3 goals against this Milan team isn’t unrealistic if the players are up for it.

Think the players that are going to start against Chelsea will get at least 70-75 mins in this fixture.

Not a chance Dybala, McGuire and Bruno will be signed up and ready to play by Saturday! Ed might get it done by PL start but by the weekend all 3? No way

If he wants them, he HAS to get it done by the time the PL starts as the window closes next Thursday

Yes by PL start is slightly more realistic, still very difficult going by how Ed loves to dither. But by the weekend for the last pre-season game vs AC Milan? If Ed does all 3 by then I'll take back all the insults but it WONT happen!

Now that is a good team.

Dalot, Tuanzebe, Smalling, Pereira, Gomes, James, Greenwood bench

The rest can go. Hate the thought of Lingard, Mata, Jones, Rojo getting minutes ahead of that bench

Good team for the season but not for Saturday, likely we will get one or two over the line before the weekend but they wont play.

Have you been living under a rock for the past few years? This is the seventh edition and we've won it in the past.
It's almost like he didn't care that much because it's a made up preseason tournament...

Hopefully we play the team that'll start the season for a good 70 minutes at least. Not the half time wholesale changes we've been doing throughout this entire pre season.

Hope Piątek dabs on us with triple hattrick and we decide to go all out for him in the last couple of days of the window.

We had better win this considering Milan are the only team to have outright lost all their games.

70+ minutes for:

DDG
AWB - Lindelof - Jones - Shaw
McT - Pogba
Lingard
Rashford - Martial - James

Yessss, the Millennium stadium!

I wish this stadium was used more often. So many fond memories of when it was used for finals whilst the current Wembley was being built.

We really need to be relying on Matic and Mata as little as possible this season

Inzaghi is a tough striker to play against but Vidic will deal with him.

You do realise that it isn't his job to negotiate, right? There is someone else responsible for negotiating transfers and player contracts.
