Association Football Club Bournemouth (nicknamed The Cherries and Boscombe), are a professional football club based in Bournemouth, Dorset. The exact date of the club's foundation is not known, but there is proof that it was formed as Bascombe FC in the autumn of 1899 out of the remains of the older Boscombe St. John's Lads’ Institute FC. Nicknamed The Cherries (Dean Court was built adjacent to the Cooper-Dean estate, which encompassed numerous cherry orchards), the team traditionally played in red shirts with white sleeves until 1971, when the strip was changed to red and black stripes, similar to that of AC Milan. Bournemouth have spent 69 seasons in the second division of English football, and this is their second season of participation in the top tier of English football. Bournemouth's biggest rivals are Brighton & Hove Albion, Reading FC and Southampton FC. They play their home games at Dean Court, Bournemouth.

Give Ibra a start. Or one of Martial or Rashford through the middle.

I still have a lot of faith in Lukaku, but he could do with sitting out one or two, or coming on as an impact sub. He's playing the full 90 twice a week, whether or not that's the reason his performances have dropped, I don't know but we could do with a bit of freshness up front, something different. Bournemouth at home should be 3 points no matter who we play upfront, so a bit of rotation would be good.

Weird as it feels like we have nothing to play for now, but we also need to keep our run going or risk being drawn into a top 4 battle. At least if we can finish 2nd it's a huge improvement from the seasons post-Fergie.

I would like to see Martial played as the central striker. Lukaku should be dropped like Mkhi was.

Wouldn't mind to seen Lingard at cm to help transition us from defense to attack. It's a massive weak point and I feel he's matured enough to play in a midfield role.

Feels irrelevant now but we can't get sloppy, we must maintain our second place spot as the CL places fight will be tight. I'd rest Tony and Young, give Shaw a game and have Mata start. Lukaku is undroppable so not point in thinking about that. I wouldn't be that surprised to see McTominay start over Herrera either.

I reckon Bournemouth are gonna get today's result taken out on them.

    --------------------DDG----------------------------
    Valencia----Smalling--Lindelof------------Young
    ------------Herrera---Matic-----------------------
    Mata-----------Lingard---------------Rashford
    ----------------Lukaku---------------------------

SUBS - Zlatan (Lukaku), Martial (Mata), Fellaini (Matic)

    Man United 4 - 0 AFC Bournemouth
    Rashford, Lukaku, Martial, Fellaini.

    What I wish we'd play:
    De Gea
    Bailly Lindelof Rojo
    Valencia Herrera Matic Young
    Lingard
    Rashford Martial
Maybe Mata for Lingard. Doesn't matter there. But no Lukaku please. Deserves dropping.

Start Zlatan and take Lukaku out of the limelight for a game or two. The blokes low on confidence. I’d give Henrik a start too.

Where has Mkhi gone I just realised

He's shit at AM, like at Dortmund. 10x better on the wing. Can we please play him there so he can regain a bit of form and so we don't have a player who will go for nothing once we sell him.

If only we saw those 10x better wing performances. Cause he played on the wing too.

He hasn't been given a chance there since last season.
He wasnt anything special there last season. He wont magically start playing on the wing if given the chance. Being weak in duals and missplacing passes doesn't have to do anything with the position.

Don't want to see Herrera and Matic as a 2 again so soon after today. Also, if Matic is carrying an injury like Jose says then this, on paper, is a good game to let him recover a bit. Fellaini and Herrera, or even McTominay and Herrera should be enough for Bournemouth at home.

How about today and his wonderful ability to miss chances. You think only defenders cost matches?
You made it out like Lukaku was 'costing us matches'.

What matches? Today, ok he should have done better.

But his all round play and assists have helped us win games until now. Making Rom a scapegoat for a loss against the best side in the league is silly.

This games cannot come soon enough. Reasons...
    1. We lost to City.
    2. I have 5 exams in 3 days.

Shaw and Darmian? 3 at the back versus Bournemouth?
    No thanks.

3 at the back isn't negative, it frees the wingbacks up to be more attacking and has worked better for Martial, Lukaku and Lingard than the other formations, it free's Martial from the constant tracking back and gives Lukaku a player near him at all times.

I think we will be surprised by this game and lose. Matic-Hererra midfield doesnt cut the mustard.

Thats what Ive been saying. Everyone blamed Mkhi, although Mkhi wasnt really playing exceptional. His poor form coincided with these duo playing every game. Its not a good combination for midfield. We were so bad today, i didnt see a single good combination except for the Mata/Martial/Failure one.

Not with Darmian(the worst attacking player in all my time watching us) and Shaw(has he more than 3 assists in all his time here). I prefer Mata for this game than wingbacks, especially the two you mentioned.
