Cardiff City Football Club (also known as The Bluebirds) is a professional association football club based in the city of Cardiff, Wales. Cardiff City was formed in 1899 by Bartley Wilson as a way of keeping players from the Riverside Cricket Club together and in shape during the winter months. In 1902, Riverside A.F.C. merged with Riverside Albion, but it took another three years till they won their first trophy, the Bevan Shield. In 1905 Cardiff was granted city status by King Edward VII, and as a result the club put in a request to change their name to Cardiff City, but the request was turned down as they were deemed to be not playing at a high enough level. To combat this they arranged to join the South Wales Amateur League in 1907 and the following year they were granted permission to change the name of the club to Cardiff City.

During the 1960s, Cardiff began qualifying for European competition for the first time as a result of winning the Welsh Cup.They went on to reach the quarter-finals before being knocked out by Real Zaragoza. Two years later the team would go on to reach the semi-final of the Cup Winners Cup, the furthest any Welsh side has advanced in European competition, after victories over Shamrock Rovers, NAC Breda, and Torpedo Moscow set up a tie with German side Hamburg. And During the 1970–71 season, Cardiff reached the quarter-finals of the Cup Winners Cup where they faced Spanish side Real Madrid. Cardiff City's most significant rivalry is with nearby neighbours Swansea City, known as the South Wales derby, with the two sides having played each other over 100 times in all competitions. Further afield, the club has a rivalry with Bristol City, known as the Severnside derby, and to a lesser extent, Bristol Rovers.

I don't even want Pogba on the pitch, but playing Garner and Gomes with any other midfield is kind of just cruelty.

In all honesty is anyone on the cafe even going to watch this?

I'll switch between the Liverpool and City matches and then take-in the championship playoff.

City, Liverpool and Leeds all in one night. I'm a mess.

My heart wants every united fan to walk out the stadium in the 58th minute.

People have died for this club, it’s a crime what it’s current incarnation has become.

Shame on those that now run it.

I would love nothing more to turn it on and see a completely empty stadium except away fans and corporate. Let's Woody hide then when a plane flies over.

I support Ole, I mean the chants will just be 'you are my Solskjær...' instead of . 'sack the board' and 'you don't know what you're doing'
Ah, got you. A walk out 10mins from the end would be my way but you just know that these wasters will get their lap of honour instead of a walk of shame.

Can we just auto play this match like FIFA ‘19 allows?

    Or start the reserve squad?

Think they'll do one? Herrera fecked off down the tunnel last week at Huddersfield, wouldn't be surprised if others did depending on the score. If anyone stays to applaud them, they've got rocks in their head.

Honestly couldn't care one bit any more.. I haven't felt a disconnect with the club and (especially the players) in a long time.. ill be spending the majority of my time in the stands checking the other scores on my phone praying City don't bottle it. Last night was too much, i cant be dealing with them on sunday too.. Either way, i think ill be finding a quiet corner of a bar somewhere after to sit and contemplate life and this utterly depressing season

Got a feeling it's Ajax's year no matter what. Or that's what I'm telling myself anyway.

Nah mate.. im expecting the worst. theres nothing i would love more than to see Liverpool lose out on the PL in the last 10mins or so then balls up the CL.. But unfortunately this season just isn't going that way

I'm already on the edge after this season. Don't know how I'm going to cope over the next couple of weeks. Liverpool could be holding their 6th! CL, 6th!

    And here's us finishing 6th...

Let's try and play like those first three games under Ole. The only games we looked exciting under him for me. End on some hope.

I really don't know how we went from that to this. What changed?
