Hope to see Gomes and Greenwood build upon their last outing. Hope to see Garner get 45. Beyond that, just a good positive performance, Leeds probably won't sit as deep as Perth, so suspect there will be more space to play in.

An old rivalry rekindled  Even though it’s classed as a friendly, I really hope we hammer theses c****!

I reckon some players will get 60 mins out there rather than one team one half and a total brand new team for the 2nd like we saw on Saturday.

De Gea (Romero)

Wan-Bissaka (Dalot)
Tuanzebe (Smalling)
Lindelof (Bailly)
Young (Rojo)

McTominay (Garner)
Pogba (A.Pereira)

James (Chong)
Gomes (Mata)
Martial (Lingard)

Rashford (Greenwood)

Score prediction:

Manchester United 3-1 Leeds United

OP needs a trigger warning because Lingard is on the photo. Our more sensitive caf residents will appreciate that.

I hope we stop messing around mixing teams up, I don't get why we don't have a league / cup 11 and just let them gel together.

League 11

DDG, AWB, Smalling*, Lindelof, Shaw*, Mctominay, Pogba, Martial, Lingard, James, Rashford

depends on Maguire and fitness of Shaw, possibly young LB

Cup 11

Romero, Dalot, Tuanzebe, Jones, Young, Matic, Pereira, Garner, Gomes, Greenwood, Chong

I expect a win, while at the same time giving our players a decent test (Perth Glory were truly dire).

Friendly or not, a loss to Leeds is unthinkable.

I expect Leeds to put out a strong team. Their first Championship match is only two and a half weeks away, so will likely want to get game time into their match day squad.

I'll be at work too, I'll have to follow this thread during the game. Those who are watching it please make sure you post plenty of good commentary in here, not just Lingard jibes.

Shaw is most likely out.

Don't think Ole will risk aggravating his injury, if he suddenly is fit last minute for this game.
Yeah ole said he had a tight hamstring, he should be available for the next game.

I presume we'll be wearing red this time - still trying to work out what colour the away kit actually is!

I'm a bit out of the loop on this one, where's Fred?

Excited to see how Gomes and Greenwood get on, not to mention getting to see more of Wan-Bissaka and James. Pretty neat to see that 11 of the players we have on tour are from the academy.
