It's our responsibility to ensure it starts on time unless there are elements out of control. Are you sure if game doesn't go ahead this time then we won't be punished? Isn't it our responsibility to ensure that it goes ahead unless there is security scare which this isn't. If fans of a football club can get match postponed and that club receive no punishment for it then it sets a bad precedence. What is stopping other club fans to stop games knowing there won't be any punishment? Not sure there are rules to punish us this season but surely this can't go on without any consequence.
Exactly.I supported the first protest but if Utd ‘fans’ get this game cancelled as well I’m washing my hands of this glazier out movement. It’s just a ridiculous waste of time and frankly I don’t care who the owners are I just want to watch my team play football.
Manchester United have not been negligent. Their remit is the staffing and procedures of their property which is Old Trafford. They have ensured their players turned up something like 2-3 hours earlier than planned.@VP89
Also, it's not as if the club had no prior warning of the protests. They've had ample time to prepare security measures to guard against the protesting preventing the game from going ahead. But, unsurprisingly, they have been neglagent.

Bit harsh, a lot of them have the club's best interests at heart mateThe scum have arrived.

Or they're much, much smarter than these protesters, and got in comfortably. Not looking good

And to say it's Liverpool responsibility to arrive early because some people would block their entry is ridiculous. It's our responsibility ( Club and police) to ensure away team reach ground before game. If we failed to inform them that they should have come earlier then it's our fault
Think he meant Liverpool have arrived at Old TraffordBit harsh, a lot of them have the club's best interests at heart mate
Henderson
Wan-Bissaka Lindelof Bailly Shaw
McTominay Fred
Rashford Bruno Pogba
Cavani
We will beat either Fulham or Wolves, or quite likely both. But in fairness - I am not sure a bet with a mate is what would make mer nervous - unless the stakes are highAt the start of the season I bet a friend that we would get more than 70 points in the league. If we lose tonight, I'll start getting nervous, even if losing to Fulham at home would be a decidedly moyesian achievement.
What does that even mean?Gotta listen to those wanting the armchair entertainment

Don't think we can defend that stance if it happens twice. But it looks like Liverpool players will be able to come. It's our responsibility to ensure it starts on time unless there are elements out of control.
Events by the public, be it fans or not, that happen miles away from the stadium is outside the club's control.
It's not a stance. There is a PL handbook and full guide which would state by the written laws as to what constitutes as a failed responsibility from the club, and police issues occurring miles outside of the property are not one of them.Don't think we can defend that stance if it happens twice. But it looks like Liverpool players will be able to come.
I guess we'll find out before long as it's not looking good by all accounts. Sky could be exaggerating for effect, though.Manchester United have not been negligent. Their remit is the staffing and procedures of their property which is Old Trafford. They have ensured their players turned up something like 2-3 hours earlier than planned.
It's up to the Greater Manchester Police to ensure the security of players getting to the bus, and to deal with any matters along the way to the stadium. That's got nothing to do with the club itself. By the sounds of the latest developments, the Police did their job, and Liverpool did theirs with the decoy, so it's going ahead on time. But hypothetically if Liverpool didn't plan for any disruption or if the Police failed to escort the team bus adequately, that's not a punishment for Manchester United FC.
Pretty much nailedOfficial, or just your prediction?
Didn't we get moaned at when our bus got attacked by West Ham fans a couple of years back? Don't remember the home team getting into much trouble then. Not looking good

Do they usually travel to away games, particularly Manchester, in a bus decked out in Liverpool colours and logo? I always thought it was just plain black?Did they seriously use a decoy bus? Brilliant.
