So if a keeper comes out to punch a ball and collides with a striker on the followthough, is that a penalty?

I still don't get that decision. Ibra pokes it in and while his foot is high he clearly gets to the ball first. Reminds of the Nani decision. The player has eyes for the ball. You can't rule that a foul IMO.
I imagine the rationale is that with the player coming in with a high boot it's dangerous play with the oncoming defender (VV) left to either get stuck in or hold up

Hope something happens to Valdes as well, give him a ban, cheating cnut.
Why is Valdes being such a cheating douche bag???

He was our player too, is he trying to take revenge on us for not giving him the starting GK spot??

    WHY WAS ZLATAN'S GOAL DISALLOWED?

What was the basis? What was the logic? What rules of the game did he break?

It was NOT dangerous play. It did NO damage at all. Seriously, what Zlatan did was just his skills - who else can do stuff like that???? Why are they discriminating against Zlatan for being technically superior?

It is seriously just ridiculous refereeing, the refs are biased, they are corrupt. There is nothing we can do. We score legitimately and they just won't allow us to benefit. Are the refs being handed brown paper bags by mysterious Russian/Arab operatives in sunglasses and dark suits? Someone should seriously follow the refs and see what they get up to after the games.

What do UTD have to do for the ball to go in?????
Wow man calm down, United simply needs to score by trying more so that no one can deny us a goal and the 3 pts. The decision was very poor, but we complain about such decisions after the game, not during.

Valdes bought that withis his antics, linesman didn't flag and goal was given but then Mason sees Valdes on the floor crying and rolling in pain and Ibra taking a knock on his knee so he went ahead and disallowed it.

Least this front line has shown us what it's capable of, disallowed goal and hit the post twice, very real threat at all times so glad to see Martial back finally, this could be where it finally clicks for us.

Hold up. Problem solved. It wasn't a 50 50. Valdez was late to the party.

I'm against crowd violence in general but that seriously deserved forty seats being ripped up. It was a brilliant athletic finish.
 what? That doesn't sound like someone against crowd violence at all, specially for such a little thing

"Jose Mourinho can't stop reenacting it"

No you feckwits you're just showing the same replay over and over.
Maybe but Mourinho's reaction is the same in every single replay.

That horrible decision DIRECTLY cost us the lead and it is possible that it was have a direct and consequential influence on the outcome! If we go 1-0 up there, it totally changes the complexion of the game as Boro will be forced to chase an equaliser leaving them even more vulnerable!

And by the way, why is VICTOR VALDES such a dirty play-acting cheat!! If strikers can get punished for diving, he should be sanctioned too.

Imo it was the wrong decision, but a case could be made for dangerous play, it's not about if he hit him or not but going in with the foot so high.
    What?

It was a 50/50 challenge and Ibra had every right to go for it. If you watch the replay carefully you will see Ibra lower his leg in order to avoid contact with Valdes thus nullifying any potential threat posed. It was not dangerous play in any way shape or form.

The decision to disallow it was born out of pure incompetence based entirely on cowardice.

Good to see all the BBC agenda against us, they're claiming it was a correct decision to rule out the goal ffs, can't wait for them to praise the ref on MOTD tonight. Disgusting.

Referees should have to do post-match press conferences where they are subject to questions about their refereeing decisions. There needs to be more accountability. They need to explain their decisions and not hide behind FA sanctions each time anyone tries to ask them questions.

Not cowardice because what is there to be afraid of, after all we're at home. It was plain incompetence though.

BBC are already preparing themselves for an embarrrsing panto debate on it. Your point is correct except it wasn't even a 50-50. Ibrahimvich is getting there 70-30 and his foot actually hits Valdes foot when they eventually make contact.

There's no conversation to be had, boro didn't even claim it. It's the worst decision of the season, possibly ever in terms of goals disallowed and the ref making it completely Un influenced
