Any word on Cavani ?
I would not expect City to drop any points tomorrow and even if by some miracle that did happen then we have lost too much ground in the last few games for it to make any differenceNo excuse not to win this. We will find out the result of the Arsenal and City game before our match. Surprisingly, I actually think City will drop points at Arsenal so we need to capitalize on it. However we seem to have a habit of dropping points against bottom of the table teams these day, losing to Sheffield United at home and drawing with West Brom. Honestly I won't be surprised if we draw of lose to Newcastle knowing us.
I remember when we dropped an 8 point lead with 4-5 games left in the season.I would like to see us smash them... But I guess we'll probably see a 2-0 where we score the 2nd really late on the counter. They'll probably come really close to an equaliser since we simply can't kill off games early on and let the important names get a rest
We are a team of relatively young players. And young players are inconsistent. And in this case, it's a collective inconsistenciesWe should have been within touching distance of City man, how did we mess up? So many points dropped against Sheffield, arsenal, Everton and west brom. I have got no confidence in our lot beating these. It will be just like us to go and lose to them.
They need lessons from Fergie to improve their mentality
Plus a huge lack of leadership on the pitch within the playing staff. We are a team of relatively young players. And young players are inconsistent. And in this case, it's a collective inconsistencies
Europa league ...Only just realised we kick off at 7pm today. What's that all about?

I hope we didn't have to play in a neutral country and then caught Covid.Tweet

PhewAll reports suggest it's Ole's team that's been down with Covid, though.

Hopefully, the players remain unaffected. No guarantee considering they have all been in contact with the coaching staff at some point or another. All reports suggest it's Ole's team that's been down with Covid, though.

Carrick had a heart problem and operation too. Not sure if that makes him vulnerable but hope they're all okay. Puts it into perspective that football shouldn't be played at the moment and there must be lots of people in the game that are uncomfortable working at the moment.Hope it's not Phelan with his age. Or Fletcher with his history.
Must mean Cavani and VDB not rightTweet

I hope Nicky Butt kicks someone in the butt and wake them up.
You are right about this. Then the FA comes out and says players should not be celebrating together after scoring. The height of idiocy.Carrick had a heart problem and operation too. Not sure if that makes him vulnerable but hope they're all okay. Could do with him in midfield today, looking at the squad.I'm really excited with Nicky Butt getting used.
I had a personal feeling that he is going to be important to some level in our future.
Yeah we are developing a bit of a midfield injury crisis but we have been very lucky with that side of things up until the last couple of weeksMatic and Fred midfield combo at home to Newcastle I expect, bit grim that.
