Real Madrid are getting really flustered. Don't think they expected us to completely play them off the pitch, even though it is only a pre season game.
He just came on against Madrid without a proper warmup. He's done fine.

Been a really good match so far. It's extraordinary how much of an impact LVG has had on us. And rival fans wonder why we are so bullish coming into the season.

Great first half! It is such a difference from last season you can see that the players are really enjoying it out there.
I know it's only preseason, but this really does bode well for this season. I'm really looking forward to the new season!

That was one good half of football.
When Welbeck got injured, a better idea would have been to put Kagawa on and stick Rooney as a full 9 up top.

We look really good. Great ball retention and the players look so natural under pressure. Fletcher and Evans in particular, Fletcher could play a large part this season.
TBH, I think Welbeck will displace one of Rooney/RvP this season, if he stays fit. He seems to be vital to our quick passing game.
Excellent first half. Really looking forward to seeing how this formation will work in the premier league, but United already look a lot better than last season.

Never thought I'd say this so close to our worst season ever but, we're dominating Real Madrid! They're only really missing Ronaldo (arguably James) but we're missing RVP. I'm enjoying this
Fletcher has a real shot at captaincy I think.
